Weird Dreams Are Weird
First Up -- The Walking Dead
Last week, I literally woke up from this dream sweating and scared. I dreamt of me being inside a house with other people. We locked all the windows, switched off the lights and drawn the curtains. We monitored the outside situation and looked out for zombies. We had machine guns too. I was thinking to myself, I can't use guns! I have never fired anything before! I was gonna die screaming!
The next thing I remembered was seeing a few zombies out on the street. They didn't seem to know we were inside the house. But suddenly, someone knocked on the door, urging us to let them in. I had no idea who they were, but something told me I knew them. They were banging on the door so loud, the zombies were beginning to turn around and approach the house. I was scared. I didn't know if I should open the door and let them in. The zombies were closing in.
And then I woke up, thinking thank god it was only a dream because I was really scared!
Next Up -- Bus Trip
I was on a bus, I think I was on my way to work because the whole time I was telling myself I was running late for work. I was getting frustrated. But the bus driver kept giving us a sightseeing tour of where he used to work and live. I really didn't give a shit! I was late for work. There was no urgency of any kind. I was getting angry. Suddenly a guy, sat next to me and started get really flirty with me -- he was talking to me and holding my hands like I was his girlfriend or something. He was like "It's ok, [insert real name]" I was like, "No it's not. I am late for work." He was kinda cute. I had no idea who he was in my dream or real life.
The next thing I remembered was looking for a hairdryer at my sister's house. She was watching TV and wouldn't give it to me for some reasons. So I left. But I ended up in what appeared to be a hotel foyer. Everyone was acting weird, as if they couldn't really talk or very upset about something. The bellboy told me, "He was nowhere to be found. He is missing." I assumed he was telling me about my 'boyfriend from the bus'. And I told him, "Here is my number, call me if you hear anything."
And then I woke up.
Last one -- Job Interview
The other week, I had a dream about going for a job interview. I was on the bus, navigating my Google Map and asked the bus driver where the place was for my interview. He pointed me to the shopping centre nearby. I kinda questions his direction, because Google Map indicated something else. I got off the bus and ended up in a shopping centre. And then I realised I was lost. I checked my watch, SHIT, it was nearly 8:30am. I questioned myself, was my interview at 8:30am or 9:30am? I checked my phone but it wasn't working. It was frustrating!
I walked around the shopping centre and started to panic. I asked someone for direction, and that person took me outside. We were on a deck and the ocean was in front of us. But it was like a playground where kids screamed and played. There was this giant wave hitting the deck repeatedly. The person told me, to get to my interview I must walked through the wave and kept walking until I saw the place. I was like, no friggin way I would walk through through what appeared to be a tsunami!
And then I walked back inside the shopping centre and asked someone else. Clearly the person who told me to walk into the ocean was a nutjob! Two girls were very helpful, they pulled up a map and got on their smartphone for internet, they even got into a few arguments in the process of helping out to find this place. And suddenly their friend appeared, the girls told me I should follow their friend, she could take me there. I was like.. great! Awesome!
Their friend, a girl, never spoke a word to me. I wasn't sure if she couldn't talk or what. But I followed her. She and I walked through the deck and the wave was hitting the deck, but not me. I didn't remember getting wet. We arrived at the end of the walkway, and she pointed a spot on a floating deck and insisted I sat down. So I sat down. I had no idea what was going on. And then it moved, like a speech boat. I was on my way!
I started to see an island with buildings and lights. It seemed like an industrial place to me. The 'speed boat/ floating deck' thing docked. I got out with a few other people, I didn't even know they were with me the whole time. And I realised they were tourists because there was some sort of a tour guide person.
I saw what appeared to be an admin building, I walked inside and told the receptionist who I was and I was here for an interview. She seemed to be expecting me. She took me inside. We walked through what appeared to be a submarine. We arrived in a private room, because the sofas were nice. She asked me to wait.. so I waited.
And then, Peter Jackson appeared. That's right! PETER FRIGGIN LORD OF THE RINGS JACKSON! He was apologetic and said a bunch of things about not knowing how to use his phone and all that. And I was sat there, stoned! I was going for an job interview with Peter Jackson!
And then I woke up.
Three words: WHAT THE FUCK?
Any idea what my dreams meant? I'd be interested in your interpretation!

About Giving Up
There are a few ways in looking at this. The first one comes to mind is when people give up an idea or a way of life or changing light bulbs or baking voluntarily, whatever that might be, because things just don't work out sometimes. And then there are people who just give up involuntarily because the world is not up to them, it's them versus the world. You also have people who want to give up on other people because they just can't be bothered, too much work. Why invest their time when they can just 'buy things off the shelf'? There are way too many cases on giving up. If you have not given up on yourself or others or whatever in your life, good for you. But it's only human to feel shit, it's about how we overcome the shits in life because if we don't care about ourselves, no one will. People may give up on you, but you should never give up on yourself.
You'd think that people learn from their own mistakes from previous experience or you'd think people have a conscience when shit happens. Of course, you may say it's better to give up sometimes and put ourselves or other out of the misery. May be. But I ask you to reconsider, it's not a bad thing to always see good in people, you don't know what you are walking away from.
As an example, my friend was recently let go by his employer. I happen to know this person very well, I worked with him. I know the kind of worker and person he is. Not because he is like a little brother to me, he works hard, he is smart, he gets things done, and he is a quick learner. His attitude towards learning and not giving up astonish me. He was taking a break from studying law, and thought this job would be a good opportunity for him to connect the real world. He may not have been with the company for too long and this is not the industry he originally intended to join, but he has potentials. It was on the job training. Not to the extend of training Clark Kent to be superman, but where can you find a good loyal Gen Y like my friend these days? Considering the company is known for giving up on people and firing them. I know it is a business decision, but it is a crap one.
If you don't trust the person you hire, don't hire them or at least trust your own judgement for hiring this person. My friend is young, so young he may not even realise his potentials, it is the manager's job to invest their time on talents. If they intent to hire someone with no experience, then it made sense to have a strategy in mind to train this person and show him the way. He was let go this week, and the reason they gave him was that they were going through a restructuring and they wanted to hire someone more senior. But I saw the new job ad, the qualification was not more than what was advertised when my friend was looking for a job.
Was it a personality thing? Was it something he did or didn't do? The other day, he was just telling me how pumped he was with all the new projects and he wasn't going to give up, he wanted to show them, and he was going to kick it in the ass! I like that, you know. Any employers who know this kind of Gen Y employees who have the right mind set, attitude and loyalty, you can't go wrong.
I am just questioning why. Like, why do people just give up? I was a lucky little vegemite. I was new to a job once, I was never sure if was doing the right thing, but my mentor/ manager told me "never underestimate your ability, I believe in your, so you should believe in yourself." Sounds like a line straight out from a movie or something, right? But hands on my heart, it was exactly what she said. Twice I have experienced this and pushed myself to the limit and see how far I'd go. Not that I was giving up or anything, but the role of mentors, friends and family is important. They are supposed to pull you out of darkness when you don't even realise you're surrounded by it.
Perhaps people just don't have time to invest in good people anymore? Of course, you may say, something must have gone wrong etc.. But when something is not right, people don't discuss for a solution, they discuss for a termination. This really got me thinking about what the hell were we doing in the first place? If my friend sucks, I understand. But I know, this time it was the company that sucks. And why would you leave an unnecessary emotion scar on a good worker and a good person?
I feel sorry for my friend, because he had all the right reasons and attitude to reach his potentials in this company. But you know what... their lost! I know this is not the end for my young friend, he is going to kick it in the ass. I think this is when a hero is born.

Thursday edition -- I have moved on, digitally
I am someone who move around a lot and I hate packing, but I hate unpacking more! The last time I moved out of my apartment, I was mortified when I looked at all my CDs from the pre-iTune era (yeah, remember CDs?) I was like WHY ARE YOU OCCUPYING MY SPACE? My books and magazines don't scare me as much, I still like them. Especially my collections of IdN. I love IdN because each issue is unique, from the design to the actual paper stocks. I don't think I'll enjoy it as much if I read it in digital format.
Space is an issue to me. I live in a small apartment, I only have one bookshelf and I have no space for any additional crap. But crap is unavoidable, so I started putting some of my books and DVDs into my retired bar fridge, it's a good little thing for storage.
My habit has certainly changed over the past two years in terms of buying books and DVDs from Amazon, and buying music from iTune. I can't remember the last time I bought a CD. Since I got an iPad last year, I have been reading ebooks on it. When it comes to TV shows and movies, I still prefer the actual disk and watch it on my TV. Beside, my internet speed and limit aren't the best, I can only download two TV shows max on a weekly basis.
A few nights ago, I was hoping to get the latest tie-in novel Supernatural: One Year Gone in a digital format. But guess what? It's available as ebook in other regions, but you can't download it if you're in Australia. If I order it from Amazon, even with the express delivery I still have to wait for a few days. It probably has something to do with the distribution rights and costs, but here is the thing, despite the fact that all-things-digital are playing an integral part of our life (more than you know it), the industry is still in the transition/ limbo stage. Take my case as an example, I am a consumer, when I want something, I kinda expect to get it RIGHT NOW. If Supernatural: One Year Gone is released in a digital format, why can't I just download it despite where I am physically or geographically? And if I wait for the book to arrive in a bookstore in Australia, not only I have to wait but the book will be expansive to buy. And if I wait for the discount sale, well.. I'll wait longer. By then, I probably don't remember what I have been waiting for -- perhaps Waiting for My Book: One Year Gone?
I have been doing some research lately on social media, mobile, Square, Google digital wallet and other technology innovations. Consumer technology is moving at an unprecedented pace. My mother would say we are either getting smarter, less patience or lazier. But I see this as an opportunity for everyone. It isn't just about the cool devices and the hype, it's about what you can do with it. More important, it's about fast information, instant help and interacting with people regardless where you are geographically. Whether it be a bank, a TV network or a retail store, businesses have to prepare to respond quickly and to engage us in real-time or they can kiss us goodbye.
I do like the Borders recycle bags, I better grab a few before they become extinct.

I believe...
Yes, I do have a job. No, I don't particularly enjoy it. I think when your heart tells you it's time to move on, you should move on. I guess if there are nothing else I wanted to do in my life, I could probably suck it up and do what I do for the rest of my life. But there are so much more in life that I wanted to do. I might succeed. I might fail. At least I try.
Life is not an easy journey, but there are a lot of fun things you discover along the way. I have been rewatching Joss Whedon's Firefly. Why? Because I think not only it was a great series, the drama behind the series was inspirational. I think Joss himself is an inspiration to me.
'Fitting in' is one of the toughest things to do in life. It sucks. But you know what, you don't have to fit in and you will discover who you really are and the great things you want to do. And sometimes, it's ok to be a little arrogant.
I think the future is now, and it's exciting. If you want to explore other possibilities and be adventurous, I say go for it.

Tuesday Edition: Planet Cake; iPad; paperless; episode title for 6.13
I brought Planet Cake, I am so inspired to bake and design beautiful cakes! Wish me luck! I swear to Chuck, I am so going to make an Impala cake!!
I also purchased an iPad, the first thing I did was to download Pages, iRead PDF and Amazon Kindle for iPad. I love Amazon and I love having Kindle on my iPad! I have Stephen King's The Stand and some reference books. I also downloaded Larousse, which is a recipe App for French pastries, jams and cakes.
In the near future, I want to go paperless and hopefully cashless too. I want everything on my Mac, iPad and iPhone, I can't remember the last time I brought a CD. Going digital is going to save so much space. As someone who is very mobile, believe me, it's a bitch when I move!
But that's not what I really wanted to blog tonight. I just wanted to say, episode 6.13 will be called Unforgiven. Oh.. and my Supernatural season 5 companion just arrived.
Oh hey, clap your hands if you believe in Dean Winchester!
25 October 2010
I shall not give this blog post a title...
Speaking of WTF weird scenes in TV and movies. Have you watched a movie called City of the Lost Children? Watch the opening scene below. I'd never looked at Santa the same way again. Santa is leveled with clowns in my book.
Supernatural has a fair share of weirdness. With all your drinking and smoking, I still love Teddy.
I think I know what is wrong with Sam! He needs to find his shoe! Ever since he lost his shoe, he's been grumpy, he turned to Ruby, he drunk demon blood (who does that?). He just needs his shoe!

My Constant
In recent months, I have been a frequent traveler from reality to Twitterverse. Due to high exposure to madness, obsession, endless discussion of Supernatural, Lost, Smallville and 24, my consciousness moves back and forth between reality and Twitterverse, like Eloise the mouse, I think my brain is short-circuited.
May be I can't tell the difference between reality and Twitterverse, it's like I have nothing to attach myself to. I do not have a constant and I need one, something that is present in both times and that I sincerely cares about and can recognise. And I need to put my constant on a bungee.
Constant, I have none. But I have a theory about my headache though. It should heal by itself by May 2011.
Seriously.
One of the best things about television is that it never stops creating or re-inventing itself. Some of us are more than just viewers, we are passionate crazies who love our shows. Sometimes we get very critical, simple because we care. But most of the time, I'd like to think we simple just want to enjoy the ride and want our favorite shows to take us away from reality for 40 minutes every week. If a show can do more than than, I think it's a bonus. I have great admiration for people who can do things I am not able to do.
Television enters a new era every few years. There was a time when we loved a good paranormal drama, The X Files (1993), which set a high standard for other dramas in this genre. Then came the supernatural themed dramas, Buffy (1997), Charm (1998) and Angel (1999). When medical dramas were in their golden age, viewers loved some good quality medical dramas like ER (1994) and Chicago Hope (1994). Of course the industry saw sci-fi genre took off noticeably with Stargate SG1 (1997), Firefly (2002), BSG (2004) and Dr Who (2005). We have an unprecedented obsession with procedural cop shows, even when they aren't that good and they NEVER end, and I mean NEVER! There isn't a moment I switch on my TV without seeing NCIS. Now, the vampires are back sucking our blood with The Vampire Diaries, True Blood and the short-lived Moonlight.
I am a lucky viewer who live in an era of great television (reality TV not included and I don't like them, except Jamie Oliver). But I am afraid the end of an era, based purely on my personal television viewing preference, will come to a halt soon. A emotional farewell of Lost hit me in the head! Smallville season ten is likely to be the last. And who knows if Supernatural will go beyond season 6?
So, what am I going to do when all my favorite TV shows are over? I suppose apart from rewatching the shows, I can try new ones. The only new shows that I watch include Glee and The Big Bang Theory and Chuck. If I start watching The Vampire Diaries, Gossip Girl, Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives or any procedural cop shows, please shoot me immediately.
One chapter closes, and hopefully I have the will to open another.
Send your CV with a photo and register your details if you want a date with me. I will be available from May 2011.

Mid-Week Diary
I just think that perhaps my problems with this episode is that, it wasn't as well written as episodes written by the star writers such as Sera Gamble, Ben Edlund, Jeremy Carver, Julie Siege, Raelle Tucker, Cathryn Humphris, Nancy Weiner and Eric Kripke himself.
Note, the following episodes (including Dark Side of the Moon) were written by Daniel Loflin & Andrew Dabb.
Yellow Fever
It was fun, but the "Dean is a dick" thing sparked fans' anger. I mean, we love Dean, coz he is such a dick sometimes. Anyway, Eric Kripke had to come out and address it: "Dean is not a dick, he is a hero."
After School Special
It was probably one of the best episodes from Daniel Loflin and Andrew Dabb.
Jump the Shark
It was a good episode, however, the whole 3rd brother thing was good material wasted.
I Believe the Children Are Our Future
Great episode! I love Jessie. To me, it was a better episode by their standard.
Sam, Interrupted
Pudding! It was an ok episode, not the best I've seen, but it was ok.
Dark Side of the Moon
The inconsistency of this episode bothers me. The first half was great, if you read my review, I absolutely love some of the scenes (probably one of the best scenes of the show). But let me put it this way, I am 666% sure this episode would have been better if it was written by any of the star writers as listed above.
I think the story idea was there but the character stuff wasn't well executed. I get the whole angst, losing faith thing, perhaps they have to write stuff that makes fans angry and then hopefully we can patch things up. I mean, somebody has to write the angry shit, right?!
But here is the thing, I personally feel that it was a bit of a try-hard from Daniel and Andrew. On one hand, they were sort of going for the epic-ness, but on the other hand, they didn't achieve it. The character stuff was a bit wonky. Is it just me?
I don't know which writer created the character God (for example Ben Edlund created Bela & the Ghostfacers, while Jeremy Carver created Castiel), so whoever created the character God, I pray and pray they don't screw it up.
Hammer of the Gods (Yet to be aired)
I wish to GOD, Daniel Loflin and Andrew Dabb don't fudge it up.
I am nervous when I know an episode is written by Daniel Loflin and Andrew Dabb. It's like they should just stick to the fillers and leave the characters stuff to other writers who would and could maintain and treat the characters with justice. Am I making sense? I just think that if the above episodes (including Dark Side of the Moon) were written by the star writers, the over quality would be much better and I am sure I'd be more satisfied.
Anyway, I don't mean to offend Daniel and Andrew or anyone, but that just happens to be how I feel about it. Still love you guys, but I wish things would've been written and treated better.

A Nice Day at The Beach; Journey into Across the Universe
While we are waiting for the painful hellatus to be over (Yes, that's right folks, Supernatural is returning to your screen - whether it be on your TV screen if you're US/ Canada viewers.. or your computer screen if you're just crazies like me from other part of the universe.) Where was I? Oh yeah... while we are waiting for Supernatural to come back, I went the beach. I've been wanting to go to the beach and just read a book or something. I did that today.
It was pleasant. Being on a weekday, it wasn't busy at all. I just looked at the Simpsons blue sky for like 15 minutes, read a few chapters of The Gunslinger by Stephen King, looked at the sky again, and then read some more. It was the best day in weeks.
What I wanted to share with you is my playlist. It was awesome to share the afternoon with the mother nature while listening to some of my favorite songs. I hope you like them too.
New Slang - The Shins
Just like Honey - The Jesus and Mary Chain
Kokomo - The Beach Boys
Cash Money - The Beautiful Girls
Dreams - The Cranberries
Traffic in the Sky - Jack Johnson
Long Way Round - Sterophonics
La Bamba - Los Lobos
California Dreamin' - The Mamas & The Papas
Time Capsule - Matthew Sweet
So anyway, on my way home, I realised that I was meant to download Hey Jude, but I kept forgetting. When I was in front of my computer, I realised that we can't download any original Beatles songs on iTune. But I came across a cover by Joe Anderson. I was like WHO? So I listened to it anyway. I know the originals are always the best (well sometimes) but Joe's version rocks!! 5 seconds into the song and I loved it already.

And then I realise it was a song from a movie soundtrack. The movie was Across The Universe, which was named after a Beatle song. So I started digging more information on the movie. And it turned out Across the Universe is one of those movies I'd love to watch. Like Garden State. The soundtrack contained many Beatles songs, sung by actors in the movie. NICE! I downloaded Across the Universe by Jim Sturgess and Strawberry Field Forever by Jim Sturgess & Joe Anderson. They are awesome!
Next step - I am going to hunt down the movie DVD!!! Wish me luck! It sounds like a really awesome movie to watch! I'll come back with a review.
I watched Alice in Wonderland 3D on the weekend. It was cute and awesome! Now that I've watched three 3D movies (MBV3D, Avatar and Alice), I am going to write something on this blog. No deadline, but it will be done.
Until next time! Have a nice week!
PS: Expect some spoiler clips on Bobby and Zombies to appear this week. Don't forget, Supernatural returns next week Thursday 25 March on the CW.

Supernatural: Back to the Future III (That's not a typo)
A local TV network has been repeating Back to the Future (the movie) for awhile and it got me thinking. In Supernatural, we have In the Beginning which focused on Dean going back to 1973, a few days before Mary made the deal with YED. And in a few weeks time, we will see Back to the Future II. On paper it says the episode is about angel Anna goes back to 1978 to kill John and Mary before they can conceive Sam. Looks like Mary is pregnant with Dean in this episode who is born in 1979. According to a recent interview with Sera Gamble, we will also see 2020 in that episode. So far, the Back to the Future Winchester trilogy (I can't think of another name for this arc) is very similar to the way Back to the Future (the movie) played with their time line.
So, here is the $66 question: What if there is a Back to the Future III in season 6 of Supernatural? Here are my thoughts.
MEET SAMUEL COLT (ideal guest star Jeremy Davies aka Daniel Faraday from Lost): Archangel Gabriel (aka Mr Trickster) has decided to help Dean and Sam. We all know the Colt cannot kill Lucifer. Gabriel says he knows there is another way, but he cannot guarantee it will work. Gabriel says there was a very Supernatural angelic element that came with the Halley's Comet in 1835. He tells Dean and Sam that element can be found on the night the Comet passes overhead in 1835 and it can be used to make a very special bullet for the Colt, but there's only enough juice to make one.
Gabriel reiterates that this plan may not work. But if it does, there will be risks. That is, if the bullet could kill Lucifer (an angel), it could also kill any other angels. If the Colt/ bullet falls into the hands of the wrong demon or fallen angel or douchey human, things could be disastrous. Dean and Sam ask how do they know if the bullet works. Gabriel says they don't, not until they empty it into Lucifer's face.
Dean and Sam are willing to take risks and go back to 1835. Gabriel says he does not want to go back with them, but he will give Dean and Sam the instructions. Gabriel says the less time they hang out in 1835 the better, he will only give them 24 hours to complete this mission. So Dean, Sam and Castiel are transported back to 1835, one night before the Comet passes overhead.
Dean and Sam successfully acquire the Supernatural element. When Dean and Sam confront Samuel Colt, they find out Samuel has already begun building the Devil's Gate, the gun is only in the thinking process. No one is supposed to know about this and Samuel Colt has no idea about the supernatural power the gun and the bullets possess. Dean tells Samuel he has to make a very special bullet with the Supernatural element they acquire for him, and the bullet can only be used with the Colt he is about to make. But Samuel is not convinced about everything that Dean is telling him. Dean asks Castiel to show Samuel his wings. "Is this good enough for you?" Cas says.
They have a long discussion about the Colt and the future. Samuel agrees to make the Colt with Gabriel's instruction. Dean and Sam tells Samuel to go into hiding and hide the Colt/ bullet well. Castiel inscripts the Enochian sigil to Samuel's rib cage to protect him from angels and demons. Dean and Sam tell Samuel to hide the bullet but he has to leave clues for them find it in 2010, so that they can kill Lucifer with it.
Time's up. Dean, Sam and Castiel are transported back to 2010. It's up to Samuel Colt to complete his tasks. They can only hope he did. Not long after Dean, Sam and Cas left 1835, Samuel disappeared off the face of earth (just as John Winchester described it.)
A new chapter begins. The meeting with Samuel Colt ultimately changes everything. Dean and Sam do not have to say YES to their angels. Most of the time is devoted to finding that very special bullet in season 6. In the end, it is revealed that Samuel Colt hid the bullet inside Dean's amulet. It just fits perfectly, because I say so. Samuel Colt came across a very unique amulet during his hiding, he recognized it was the same one Dean wore when they met. If everything happens according to what has already happened, Bobby would still give the amulet to Sam and Sam would still give the amulet to Dean as Xmas present.
The real battle takes place in Detroit. The bullet works, but not deadly enough. However, it gives the angels the advantage to send Lucifer back to his cage and lock him up for good. Dean and Sam continue to save people, hunting things, family business.
-The End-
There are probably holes in the story. Feel free to comment. I just have a feeling that the writers may complete the arc with something like a Back to the Future III. The movie took place in the Old West. So it kinda fits.

The first 2010 question that bugs me - 2010
I was having breakfast yesterday with a dear friend of mine. Chat chat chat. Eat eat eat. And then out of nowhere, there was this random question and I couldn't get it out of my head! It was like trying to figure which Lost episode Greg Grunberg was on.
Question: Do you say 'Two Thousand and Ten' or 'Twenty Ten'?
I asked my Twitter friends.. I got many replies. And then the genius switch was on! DING! I posted this question to the masters, Misha Collins & Jim Beaver. Here is Jim's reply:

That's 10 kinds of awesome that Jim replied. THANK YOU!
In 2010, there will be a new section on this blog called 'Questions that bug Tiny'. Do help! I'm just someone who is confused sometimes.
Happy New Year! Have a great Two Thousand Ten.

#29 Misha Collins
Minions! We are so proud of our Master.

#21 Justin Hartley (Smallville)
OK.. I like Green Arrow the character, I think Justin is ok. But I don't think he is sexier than Tom.

#6 Jensen Ackles
Oh Jensen! FAINT.. Dean back from hell and looking sexier than ever! It doesn't matter what you wear or even if you don't wear anything...

DVR ratings
BuddyTV has a good article about the rating of Supernatural. It basically talks about how DVR ratings are saving my favorite shows like Supernatural and Smallville.
"The traditional Nielsen ratings might say that shows like NCIS and Grey's Anatomy are on top, but when it comes to younger audiences and non-traditional ways of watching TV, the CW is way out in front..." Full article at BuddyTV.
So only older people still watch TV when it's on, younger audience will DRV or iTune it whenever they want.

GO! The new digital TV channel in Australia
OK.. I don't normally do this, but here is a free plug for a TV network I don't normally watch, but I'll do this anyway, because I think I might give this a GO!Channel Nine is soft-launching the new digital channel GO! this week. It is available in Australia on fee-to-air television via channel 99 on your digital TV, offering shows that target to the 14-39 demographic including Gossip Girl, The Hills, Fringe, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Weeds, The Wire and CSI. You will also see comedy series Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Entourage and Sex & the City and other reality TV shows which I am not going to name. I don't know if we will see the latest seasons/ episodes, but looks like the only first-run show to screen is The Vampire Diaries.
Nine's GO! will also offer themed nights including reality shows on Tuesday, SciFi on Wednesday and a girl's night in on Thursdays.
Many of the above shows are currently running on The CW. As a suggestion, GO! might as well bring the whole team here to Australia making GO! a one-shop stop for all the CW shows, including Supernatural and Smallville. I just want to say it, because I truly love Supernatural and Smallville is growing on me. I know Supernatural is a Channel Ten show, but as long as we get to see the latest episodes in Australia in reasonably hours, I don't care if it's on ABC.
Check out GO! here.

Update: Portal Awards 2009 - Supernatural fans, why should you care?
Supernatural fans, why should you care? Well, because Supernatural is listed here in a number of categories, including Best Series, Best Actors (Jensen and Jared), Best Supporting Actors (Jim Beaver and Misha Collins), Best Supporting Actress (Genevieve Cortese), Best Episode (Lucifer Rising & Monster at the End of the Book) and Best Website (Supernatural.TV & SuperWiki). Jensen Ackles also is listed as one of the contestants for his lead role in My Bloody Valentine, which is also listed as a contestant for Best Movie.
While this is NOT the final list, I will be surprised if Supernatural doesn't get shortlisted in some of the above categories.
Nominees will be announced on June 15. Voting begins June 25, where readers can vote once per day for 30 days at AirlockAlpha.com
For details, go to AirlockAlpha.
Go! Team Supernatural!
