After endless tweets to Channel Ten (Australian TV network that airs Supernatural) on Twitter, they finally replied with some information on the release of season 5 in Australia and said the following:
@RT Supernatural At this stage we're looking at a 2010 launch for the boys. Sorry, we know... it's going to be a long summer.
I understand where they are coming from. The CW has scheduled a few mini hiatus (there is one this month), so it's really hard for TV networks in other countries to air the show. So it's not a bad move for Channel Ten, at least we won't get interruption when it is eventually on air.
Oh but, they did. It's the middle of January, they've shown 6 episodes and taken it off the air again without any explaination and without telling us when it'll be back on. Way to encourage people to just get it off the internet because tv keeps stuffing up!
ReplyDeletetried ringing chanel 10 to get info as to when supernatural was coming back.. they couldnt tell me anything... guy was quite rude.. channell ten can get STUFFED
ReplyDeleteWhat the hell is with that? They keep taking the series' off midseason and it's really frustrating. I don't understand and I don't know why they can't give us any information about it.
ReplyDeleteim annoyed too, i would like to at least be able to watch the rest of the series online, but i can only find up to episode 15 and there is 22 episodes, could someone please tell me at least when the air date in america is?

After a letter written to channel ten to advise them I was boycotting their channel til my show came back on... I received a return letter 3 days ago saying it would be back on at 9:30pm on the 29th March. YIPPEEE!!!!

ReplyDeleteCan somebody please start up a group on facebook or twitter like "Boycott channel 10 until they bring back supernatural". When it gets heaps of fans it might make the news on tv. Its the only way. I can't download properly and can't wait for the dvd.

Wasn't one of the issues that it wasn't getting the ratings? Well i'm sorry but it doesn't take a genius to work out that it won't get decent ratings when they KEEP TAKING IT OFF THE AIR! People won't bother with tv, they'll just download! Seriously.....? I think their new catch phrase should be Teasingly.....
ReplyDeleteI cannot believe Channel 10, they show all this other crap but dont show the good stuff like Supernatural. Why dont they just sell the rights to 7 or 9, they obviously cant be bothered with it. Supernatural is a great show and to stop start these episodes is ridiculous they dont even give it a chance. If you cant be bothered 10 why dont you just air it at 11pm for the full season 5 instead of all your other crap. Who is in charge of the programming at 10, maybe a 10 year old??
ReplyDeleteChannel 10 had to air at least half of the episodes so the volume 1 box set could be released. According to a lady i spoke to who sells the dvd's in her store, volume 2 will be released in November 2010 so they are going to HAVE to air supernatural again soon... I hope!

The Usa is premiering season 6 in september so don't wait for it
Guys if you want to watch supernatural online go to www.sidereel.com and find the supernatural section select season 5 and watch them all on there :D And P.S. when your looking at the links click the megavideo links, and it they dont work just scroll down the list until you find one that does. Hope you can all satisfy your supernatural hunger :)
ReplyDeleteAccording to a post on the Ten website we probably won't get the rest of season 5 until it airs on channel 11 in 2011, what a load of crap! If they need more programming space the should take junior masterchef off the air, I don't need to see a bunch of precocious but annoying kids playing with plastic knives... unless it's on supernatural
