Meat Swap.. humm.. Meat Swap.. I actually don't have a lot to say about Meat Swap.
When I first heard about the Meat Swap episode, I said to myself I would personally love to see Sam to swap with Dean and vice versa. Because both Jensen and Jared know each other well and it would have been a great opportunity to show off their acting once again. It would be funny! Very funny! HOWEVER, it would not serve the purpose of the story that was intended to be told if Dean was Sam, and Sam was Dean.
Let's just look at the story, seems to me this is a one stone two birds strategy from Team Lucifer! With Sam's soul out of Sam's body, Lucifer could easily convince the vessel (with Gary driving it) to yes and Lucifer would succeed using Sam's body as his vessel. It was revealed later that Dean has a bounty on his head. If Dean is dead, it would take him aka Michael vessel out of the equation.
This is not a filler episode, but this is not a character development episode either. I'll try to explain the best I can:
We don't see Lucifer in every single episode, but he is doing something. He is planning something. He is laying low, waiting for the right moment to strike or whatever he plans to do. (May be he is planning something big for the showdown at Detroit? Who knows!) This episode gave us a little insight into what Team Lucifer is doing, it's just that we don't see the Devil in person.
20 minutes into the episode, I thought it will be another Changing Channel or Monster at the End of the Book, you know the formula - half funny, half mytho. But it didn't end that way, which is fine. You know what I don't like seeing on any TV shows? Stupid teenagers doing stupid things, but they think it's cool. Just saying..
In the end, I am glad Gary helped Dean with the exorcism, which leads to the next point.. my favorite part of the episode. Unleash the inner fangirl in me! Dean exorcised a demon without reading off the book was sooooo sexy! I am so so proud! Latin never sound so good.
It's gonna sound weird, but I want Dean reading Latin as my iPhone ringtone. Somebody please do this! I'll be forever grateful. Replay! Again! Again! Again!!
Supernatural rated 2.7 in the first hour and 2.5 in the second half. (Sources: TVbytheNumbers) I still think the CW should bring the Supernatural and Smallville together in their final season. I am not gonna stop saying this! Eat me!

Supernatural 5.13 The Song Remains the Same (formerly known as Back to the Future II but they could call it 'In the Middle')
For whatever reasons, the episode title for 5.13 has been changed to The Song Remains the Same. SpoilerTV said may be there are issues using the movie's name. Details here.
ARH! I love Back the Future II as the episode title, but the story is still the same. And my imaginary theory still stand. Read it here.
I tweeted this morning that, since there are episodes like In the Beginning and The End, the writers could've named this episode In the Middle. But they may have trouble using the the word Middle because of Malcolm in the Middle. Just saying...
This week's lockdown is going to be tougher than usual! Because 5.13 is one of the most anticipated episodes in the history of the series. Why? We don't get to see four Winchesters appear on the same episode very often. I know!! Samantha Smith and Jeffrey Dean Morgan won't be in the episode, but the Winchester Family will be there. Seeing Mary, John, Dean and Sam in the same episode, in the same scene, talking to each other is going to make me cry. If I haven't mentioned enough already on this blog, I will say this again. I love the Winchester family episode.
Synopsis:
The Winchesters are back! The angels send Anna (Julie McNiven) back in time to kill John (Matthew Cohen) and Mary (Amy Gumenick) Winchester before they can conceive Sam knowing that if Sam was never born then Lucifer won't be able to use him as his vessel. Castiel sends Sam and Dean back to 1978 so they can stop Anna, and the two brothers are reunited with their parents. Mary recognizes Dean as a hunter since he visited her in the past once before but tries to keep the truth from John. Episode written by Sera Gamble & Nancy Weiner, directed by Steve Boyum.

Confession
I have a confession. I have a fangirl crush on Erica Durance (and Scarlett Johansson.)
I like Erica. I like Lois. It don't find myself enjoy watching a kick ass performance from a female lead very often.
I think the Lois Lane on Smallville is so dynamic. Lois can be down right funny sometimes. I think Erica's performance makes Lois more interesting to watch even if Lois doesn't have a key role in a particular episode. It's awesome! I think when people said Erica is the best Lois Lane we've seen, I have to agree. I find her character (as a reporter, as a friend and as Chloe's cousin) inspirational.
I was listening to SHoE the other day. Jen was a guest host. I agree with her so much, I have to tweet her and probably said something like 'high five'. It's awesome!
Read the interview here.

Supernatural News Digest: Good Read, Good Times, Supernatural
Now I know why we were taught how to read and write at school. Just saying...
Good read of the the week - Why ‘Supernatural’ Is Better Than You Think
Thanks to Twitter, an article was retweeted this morning and it's worth sharing. Tufts Daily has a new blog post about Supernatural. Full article here. Spread the Supernatural love!
Must bookmark this! - Winchester Gospel
Sablegreen from The Winchester Family Business wrote an AWESOME analysis on a few sources that inspire Eric Kripke to create the myth arc of Supernatural. Sablegreen looked at
John Milton's classic poem Paradise Lost, and the last book of the bible The Book of Revelation.
This is a must read for all Supernatural fans. I am definitely bookmarking this!

NEW interview with Sera Gamble
The super wonderful, always reliable and resourceful WinchesterBros.com has an exclusive interview with Sera Gamble. Beware of spoilers. Read it here!
As always, I have picked the one question and answer I am particularly interested in to discuss. Look away if you don't want know.
WinBros: The 100th episode! Congratulations! What can you tell us about the episode?
Sera: We want it to feel appropriately substantial. The most I can say right now is that it's about the Archangel Michael. It's the episode where a lot of building tensions you'll have watched over several episodes simmer over. Dean will behave in a way you've never seen before. So will Sam. So will Castiel. Actually, I'm particularly proud of where we take Sam in this episode. He has a kind of maturity in dealing with Dean that it took us a hundred episodes to earn.
Tiny: OK first of all, I am more than happy to see that the writers want this episode 'to feel appropriately substantial'. Some of the 100th episodes I've seen do not look like a 100th episode and they are weak. While I'd be happy to see a funny 100th birthday episode, I think going epic and sticking to the myth is the best way to go! So yeah!!
As for the Archangel Michael story in this episode, I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited about it. I don't want to spend too much time theorising the episode. But this episode will kick ass for sure! I guess perhaps for once, Sam may keep Dean in line and remind him not to give in and say yes to Michael. But that's my guess.

Apple, have you done it again with iPad?
Behold! The Moses Tablet is here.
OK so... here is the deal.. I am not going to write a report about the iPad. Here are a few websites I visit often, you can go to Apple, MacWorld, Apple Insider, Wired or Mashable for the details, photos and videos.
I watched the Steve Jobs presentation this morning. Usually I need a coffee in the morning to wake up, but not this morning. I was quite pumped. I went straight to my MacBook and watch the iPad presentation. I didn't have a coffee until about 2pm.
iPad it is! Not iTablet or MacTablet or whatever the rumors were. Ok.. not a bad name for a product. You can't please everyone. If you don't like it, what are you gonna do? Sue them? Get over it!
Steve Jobs is up there with Eric Kripke in my book of
geniuses. When I saw Jobs delivered the presentation,
I was looking at him as if he was Moses. Perhaps it is because of a drawing I saw yesterday. He said during his presentation, he chuckled when he saw this (pictured left). But is the iPad invention of biblical proportions?
I think this is the shape of things to come, and they will come fast.. real fast. To me, the product is like the first generation of iPhone. But you can bet that Apple will work fast to modify iPad and make it a better device, faster than the iPhone 3Gs upgrade from the iPhone 3G.
Based on my own habit, ultimately, I would like the iPad to replace my MacBook or the physical folders I have carry around when I am on the road, meetings or conferences. The iPhone is good for quick access to emails, Twitter and Facebook or whatever you do with the iPhone (Making phone calls you say?). But there is a need for something in between the iPhone and MacBook. I HATE papers and I mean HATE! I dislike printing stuff from the printer and for what I do for a living, sometimes I have to be forced to print out a pile of shit. I will be saying to my boss, can we not share or bring a laptop with us? The boss would say we can recycle papers. Jesus woman!
Surely, iPad is like a giant iPhone with amazing graphic quality. It's given that you can do the usual stuff like web browsing, check emails, download Apps from iTune, play games, watch Supernatural, movies and read iBooks. It's the standard package for any Apple computer / mobile products. What I like the most and it's gonna sound incredible boring, is that I like the ability of using iWork on the iPad. The above 'standard package' will attract the usual crowd, however with iWork, iPad will attract new consumers, i.e. people from the corporate world, business in general, schools, just to name a few. iWork is what's missing on the iPhone that I thought would be useful. If the iPhone can accommodate iWork, I don't need iPad. But it doesn't.
The only question I have is that, am I able to use the existing wireless internet modem I have with the iPad? I don't want to pay an extra $XXX for data. Anyone?
The iPad is certainly a great invention. There is room for improvement. I think I will buy one, perhaps the second generation of iPad. I don't need it, but it will be a great tool for work related reasons.
Oh yeah, have I mentioned the iPad is the hottest looking device since the iPhone? And speaking of the iPhone, Apple didn't announce any iPhone upgrades, what's up with that?

Some Smallville Love
OK.. Some Smallville love... It is one of my favorite shows, so take that!
Here is Smallville: Absolute Justice Space Trailer. I like trailers from Space, on occasion, their trailers are a bit spoilery, but still good! When it comes to season finale of Supernatural or Smallville, I won't watch their trailers!
Smallville has come a long way. I think I might have mentioned this before on this blog, that although I like earlier seasons of Smallville (I'm certainly a fan of the Kent family and the Luthors story arc), but for whatever reasons I still cannot pin point, season 8 & 9 are my favorite seasons. The show is more mature and I am really liking the superhero vibe. I think Absolute Justice could be my favorite Smallville to date. Will see! I love the vibe and the look of this kind of episode.. It's epic. It has the superhero vibe. It looks like a movie! I certainly will pay to watch this in the cinema if it has a cinema release.
With the earlier seasons, I know the point is to tell the story of the teenage Clark. But I never really like the high school vibe. Some of the earliest episodes were too 90210 to me. I am certain that if I started watching the show from the season one live on TV, I would've given up long time ago. But I didn't! Thanks to a great thing call DVD marathon, I was able to watch Smallville in one massive marathon within a 6 month period last year.
Anyway, what I am saying is.. I love Smallville. I wish season 10 of Smallville and season 6 of Supernatural can pair up again on Thursday, seeing this could be their last season. It is unlikely for the CW to pair up the Super-Duo, but it's a nice thought! I really want to see Smallville to reach 4mil and Supernatural 3.5mil in their final season.
OK.. I am probably talking crap now.. Later...

Supernatural News Digest: A Very Sci-Fi Facers Spoiler Edition
A few things... Mark Sheppard has confirmed on his Twitter that he will return to Supernatural. Not sure which episode. I'll keep you posted.
Michael Shanks is going to be on Supernatural. Seriously as if I haven't mentioned this 99 times before already!
Ghost Ghostfacers! This report said there will be a 10 episodes in a web spinoff series of the Ghostfacers. Starring obviously A.J Buckley and Travis Wester aka Ed and Harry (with Maggie and Spruce.) Ghost Ghostfacers!

It's Australia Day today.. that's not the spoiler! Kristin from E!Online has posted some very juicy spoiler. BEWARE!
Marissa in Tbilisi, Georgia: Any news on Supernatural? What's going on with that show?
Kristin: Oh, nothing much. Hey, does anybody remember that song "Even Angels Fall" from the 10 Things I Hate About You movie soundtrack? Well, you might want to queue it up, because you're going to need it as the soundtrack for tear-stained Supernatural lamentation fanvids after the episode two weeks hence. I can't spoil what happens outright, but the first person to guess it right in the comments gets a cookie and a hug. In other, better SPN news, Sam and Dean's long-lost half-brother from the season four episode "Jump the Shark," the awesome but dead Adam Milligan (Jake Abel), comes back to play a pivotal role in an upcoming episode.
Tiny: OK.. so.. I found the lyrics of Even Angels Fall. Check it out here. With the return of Adam Milligan.. I don't know what I think of that! May be he is in the Zombie episode? May be a flashback? We know he is dead! The Ghoul killed him.. So.. until I hear.. I'm not gonna say anything..

Supernatural: Back to the Future III (That's not a typo)
*Beware of some spoilers*
A local TV network has been repeating Back to the Future (the movie) for awhile and it got me thinking. In Supernatural, we have In the Beginning which focused on Dean going back to 1973, a few days before Mary made the deal with YED. And in a few weeks time, we will see Back to the Future II. On paper it says the episode is about angel Anna goes back to 1978 to kill John and Mary before they can conceive Sam. Looks like Mary is pregnant with Dean in this episode who is born in 1979. According to a recent interview with Sera Gamble, we will also see 2020 in that episode. So far, the Back to the Future Winchester trilogy (I can't think of another name for this arc) is very similar to the way Back to the Future (the movie) played with their time line.
So, here is the $66 question: What if there is a Back to the Future III in season 6 of Supernatural? Here are my thoughts.
MEET SAMUEL COLT (ideal guest star Jeremy Davies aka Daniel Faraday from Lost): Archangel Gabriel (aka Mr Trickster) has decided to help Dean and Sam. We all know the Colt cannot kill Lucifer. Gabriel says he knows there is another way, but he cannot guarantee it will work. Gabriel says there was a very Supernatural angelic element that came with the Halley's Comet in 1835. He tells Dean and Sam that element can be found on the night the Comet passes overhead in 1835 and it can be used to make a very special bullet for the Colt, but there's only enough juice to make one.
Gabriel reiterates that this plan may not work. But if it does, there will be risks. That is, if the bullet could kill Lucifer (an angel), it could also kill any other angels. If the Colt/ bullet falls into the hands of the wrong demon or fallen angel or douchey human, things could be disastrous. Dean and Sam ask how do they know if the bullet works. Gabriel says they don't, not until they empty it into Lucifer's face.
Dean and Sam are willing to take risks and go back to 1835. Gabriel says he does not want to go back with them, but he will give Dean and Sam the instructions. Gabriel says the less time they hang out in 1835 the better, he will only give them 24 hours to complete this mission. So Dean, Sam and Castiel are transported back to 1835, one night before the Comet passes overhead.
Dean and Sam successfully acquire the Supernatural element. When Dean and Sam confront Samuel Colt, they find out Samuel has already begun building the Devil's Gate, the gun is only in the thinking process. No one is supposed to know about this and Samuel Colt has no idea about the supernatural power the gun and the bullets possess. Dean tells Samuel he has to make a very special bullet with the Supernatural element they acquire for him, and the bullet can only be used with the Colt he is about to make. But Samuel is not convinced about everything that Dean is telling him. Dean asks Castiel to show Samuel his wings. "Is this good enough for you?" Cas says.
They have a long discussion about the Colt and the future. Samuel agrees to make the Colt with Gabriel's instruction. Dean and Sam tells Samuel to go into hiding and hide the Colt/ bullet well. Castiel inscripts the Enochian sigil to Samuel's rib cage to protect him from angels and demons. Dean and Sam tell Samuel to hide the bullet but he has to leave clues for them find it in 2010, so that they can kill Lucifer with it.
Time's up. Dean, Sam and Castiel are transported back to 2010. It's up to Samuel Colt to complete his tasks. They can only hope he did. Not long after Dean, Sam and Cas left 1835, Samuel disappeared off the face of earth (just as John Winchester described it.)
A new chapter begins. The meeting with Samuel Colt ultimately changes everything. Dean and Sam do not have to say YES to their angels. Most of the time is devoted to finding that very special bullet in season 6. In the end, it is revealed that Samuel Colt hid the bullet inside Dean's amulet. It just fits perfectly, because I say so. Samuel Colt came across a very unique amulet during his hiding, he recognized it was the same one Dean wore when they met. If everything happens according to what has already happened, Bobby would still give the amulet to Sam and Sam would still give the amulet to Dean as Xmas present.
The real battle takes place in Detroit. The bullet works, but not deadly enough. However, it gives the angels the advantage to send Lucifer back to his cage and lock him up for good. Dean and Sam continue to save people, hunting things, family business.
-The End-
There are probably holes in the story. Feel free to comment. I just have a feeling that the writers may complete the arc with something like a Back to the Future III. The movie took place in the Old West. So it kinda fits.

News flesh: Update on Michael Shanks' appearance on Supernatural
This just in! I am calling it now. Michael Shanks could be the Archangel Michael or God. This Rob guy, could be the 2nd choice of vessel for Archangel Michael or God's vessel. As mentioned in my previous blog post, I think the Shanks has to play someone important on Supernatural, he is an amazing actor! Your thoughts?!
'Fresh off his guest stint as Hawkman on Smallville's two-hour, Feb. 5 "Absolute Justice" movie event, Michael Shanks has booked a return ticket to Vancouver to shoot an episode of The CW's Supernatural.
The Stargate SG-1 alum will play a man named Rob, who is part of a local militia. Rob comes with a wife and son, but after a loss will devote himself solely to a cause. What's the cause? Well, I'm still working on that. But feel free to guess below how this character might link up with the Winchester bros' mission.'

My Funny Bloody Valentine in 2D
This episode is not based on Frank Sinatra's My Funny Valentine nor is Castiel the chubby angel cherub depicted in some angel paintings. This episode has nothing to do with My Bloody Valentine and it's certainly not in 3D.
So what's the catch? Well, the only angel in the garrison who uses a cell phone is back!
Thanks to Kryptonsite SPNSite, we've got some very nice photos of the up-coming episode 5.14 My Bloody Valentine.
There are more photos at the Kryptonsite SPNSite. Go there NOW!
Story:
Castiel (Misha Collins) helps Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) hunt down Cupid (guest star Lex Medlin) on Valentine’s Day after townspeople start to kill each other for love. However, after Cupid tells them he’s innocent, they discover Famine (guest star James Otis), one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, has arrived in town. Episode written by Ben Edlund and directed by Mike Rohl.

After-thoughts: 5.11 Sam Interrupted (updated)
After a long painful hellatus, my favorite show is back! Before I get too lazy to write, I better just do it. So here are my thoughts on Sam Interrupted.
Sam Interrupted is not my one of favorite episodes, it is certainly not one of the best episodes of this season. I don't know if it is the script or the editing, but the episode looked a bit disjointed sometimes. But no Supernatural episode in my book falls below the 2 out of 5 mark. There is always something you like about it, there is always something that made or completed the episode, give me just one scene or one Dean's one-liner, and I'm satisfied.
The episode gave an insight into the mental states of Dean and Sam. It was like a therapy session for the boys. The episode contributed to their character development. I noticed that in a filler episode, the writers always make the last scene the best scene, just to tie things together. In this case, Sam's confession about his anger. He wasn't being pretentious about his feeling, it's like a weight has been lifted off Sam's shoulders by expressing those honest feelings. It's the first time in a long time, I actually buy what Sam said.
This episode was written by Andrew Dabb & Daniel Loflin, who also wrote Yellow Fever, After School Special, Jump the Shark and I Believe The Children Are Our Future. I am ok with the episodes they wrote (my favorites are After School Special and I Believe The Children Are Our Future), but I still much prefer episodes written by Eric Kripke, Sera Gamble, Ben Edlund, Jeremy Carver, Julie Siege or Raelle Tucker.
Other random thoughts:
- Did anyone pick up the My Bloody Valentine 3D vibe with Jensen's talking to nobody?
- Jon Gries who played Martin, is Roger Linus in Lost
- Dean always welcomes a kiss from any chick but Sam is acting like he is eating poo or something. His reaction was so funny.
- I cannot help but notice Jared's sideburns. The shape of his sideburns is so Elvis.
For the pudding, I give this episode is 2.8 out of 5.
Before I forget, check this out! This is one of the best fanvids I've seen. It's epic. It's really awesome!
Update: How many people witnessed PUDDING?
Just got some ratings news last night thanks to Hunters' Addict. Sam Interrupted did pretty well on Thursday night. Supernatural has 1.3 adults 18-49 rating, which was slightly above its season average. Sam Interrupted gained 2.8 mil in the first half hour and 2.7 mil in the second half. For a full report, go to TVByTheNumbers.

#PreviouslyOnSupernatural Carry on Wayward Son… Isn’t this SPN fans all time fav song on SPN?
Seeing JDM in the Previously on was good enough for me to SCREAM!
Are we holding hands and still group hugging? More tears coming up Actually...
Jensen was amazing in that scene.. the anger and stuff.. awesome acting! [I am pretty sure I didn't tweet this, but I can't remember what I said.. Well.. some awesome tweep did.. so I'll add it here anyway!]
Everything Dean said in this scene was reflected in A Very SPN Xmas, with little Sam asking questions & all.
JensenAckles was AWESOME
*group hug* *tissues* It's not your fault DEAN! It's not your fault!
Dean’s Demon Deal set things in motion for the next 4 seasons. (if SPN gets S6). It was a very significant moment.
But seriously, YED spent his life covering his tracks to make sure Sam survives, he wouldn't let him drop dead I think this is the most significant episode for the boys in the history of the Winchesters, this started everything.
I’ve never seen Bobby this angry.. Having a go at Dean like that. The next Bobby gets angry scene is in When the Levee Breaks.
ELLEN!!!!!!!!!! That was a good hug
RT Bobby is like Supernatural Google (via KaraLambo)
I want to see Samuel Colt.. I know this will never happen..
Everyday is ice cream sundae [I realise the YED has a lot of one-liners too.]
Oh oh here comes the demons. All Hell Break Loose!
Seeing JDM back as John Winchester was gold! I really want to see JDM to return b4 the series ends.
The Colt. I love the frekking Colt! It’s up there with the Impala!!
THAT right there!! [above pic] That shot of the colt was the single most fav SFX scene in Supernatural in my book
Group hug!!
Kripke treated this episode as the series finale. The show wasn’t picked up until later. AHBL WAS EPIC!
I was kinda half expecting Dean would come back to life because of the amulet. Like it protects him or something. [I was referring to the season 3 finale]
That was for our Mum, you SOB!
AHBL is undoubtedly the best season finale of Supernatural. 'We got work to do'
After all this talk, Sam still goes dark side & choose Ruby over Dean in s4, it makes s4 more heart breaking
Like Chuck said, sucking demon blood, he's gotta it's wrong..
I want to see a movie length series finale I want to see a movie length series finale. A Supernatural Movie in 3D... LOL

Supernatural 2.21 All Hell Break Loose I
Written by Sera Gamble
Directed by Bobby Singer
TwitCom by myself and KaraLambo
Kara and I did a double episode TwitCom a few days ago on Twitter. Exciting! We have also decided to do one on In the Beginning, to get ready for Back to the Future II. We will probably do this a few days before.
Love it the episode [in the previous on] starts with Bobby... And Bobby was still new to the show then... Bobby is awesome
'Bring me some pie. I love me some pie’
I love Sera’s episodes. Bobby Singer is a great director!
Why sulfur I wonder? And demon left physical evidence behind? Like a bird left poo?
I miss season 2 title card!
Who is your favorite psychic kids? I suppose I like Andy.
Alastair is more serious.. YED is funny.. not haha funny, but he has character.. Does it make sense?
Ash!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All party up front, party in the back!
Looks like Jacob's cabin [I was preferring to the interior of the house in this abandoned town in AHBL]
When was the last time we saw the Roadhouse?
ASH is GOD!
That's right! Jo found out how her dad got killed in a hunt and then she walked away from the Dean. Miss Jo! [Referred to last we saw the Roadhouse]
Is it just me or is D. Hasselhoff the worst name Dean could pick?
YED!!! WOAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOWDY! Who is your favorite YED? I like Fredric Lane. But I think JDM set the tone in Devil’s Trap.
YED was portrayed by 5 diff actors. I like the fact that the actors carry the same mannerism but still manage to put their own stamp on the role YED.
The Yellow eyes used to scare the crap out of me. Creepy yellow eyes.
Did YED just said 'tax accountant?' to Sam? What is it with Kripke and tax accountant?
YED shows Sam the night Mary died. Mary: It’s you. This is like the second tease from Kripke since the ‘I am sorry’ from Mary in HOME.
You know there is a SPN comic focusing on John. I think there should be one for Mary.
I think we need a group hug soon......
SAMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *group hug group hug*
I love the music in this scene! [Sam dying]
Jensen Ackles is AMAZING in this scene.
