Supernatural Season Nine First Promotional Poster; Aussie Air Date

I ate this with my breakfast this morning. CW has released the first promotional poster for season nine titled "Prepared For The Fall" featuring Dean, Sam, Castiel and Crowley.

The poster has a dark undertone, reflecting this season's theme -- Dean taking care of Sam; Sam going through crap (again); Cas is without angel juice (and apparently gets a love interest played by Shannon Lucio); and Crowley too is under-going some changes as well. What's more... Kevin is gonna cosplay in pink all season. Oh wait.. what? My life isn't the same again since I saw Osric in pink at DallasCon on the weekend!

Moving on... ARE WE READY FOR SEASON NINE? BRING IT!

Supernatural season nine premiers on Tuesday October 8 on the CW. Watch it live! Tweet it! Hashtag it!

Attention, Aussie fans! Supernatural Wiki tweeted that Eleven is going to fast-track Supernatural starting on Monday 14 October 8:30pm. Watch this space for details/ confirmation!!!

Supernatural Season 9 Premiere 'I Think I'm Gonna Like It Here'; Episode Titles Update

We are getting close to seeing the season nine premiere of Supernatural. It is a very exciting time to see the show back after months of hellatus! I am so excited to see everything -- new and returning characters, epic story line and hot promo pics and clips. ARE WE READY??

Description -- Episode 9.01 I Think I'm Gonna Like It Here

FALLEN ANGELS --- Dean (Jensen Ackles) is frantic after Sam (Jared Padalecki) collapses and the doctor tells Dean his brother won't make it. Desperate, Dean sends out an all points bulletin via prayer to every angel in the area, asking them to help his brother.  In exchange, Dean will owe that angel a favor.  Numerous angry angels race to find and kill Dean, but one, Ezekiel (guest star Tahmoh Penikett), gets to him first.  Meanwhile, Sam fights for his life and must face some familiar demons to do so. Castiel (Misha Collins) struggles to survive without powers. John Showalter directed the episode written by Jeremy Carver. Source: KSiteTV

Supernatural Season 9 -- New Promo

Are we ready for season nine?

ARE WE READ FOR SEASON NINE???????????

It's about bloody time we see some new footage of Supernatural season nine. This hiatus has been weird and gets weird every single frigging day!

I am super excited to see Alaina Huffman returning as Abaddon, and Julian Richings returning as Death. Not to mention the return of Bobby, Charlie and Kevin plus a whole bunch of new characters. This is exciting!!
It isn't Supernatural if there is no guilt, secret, angst and hugs. (Pretty much in that order!) So, that's pretty much what I expect from season nine. Let's not forget the boys' good looks! Here's Jeremy Carver talks about this season.

Supernatural NEWS NEWS NEWS Plus Hot Pics, Episode Titles

I know I have been bad! I have had a very busy months. Things just hit me like a bullet train -- I didn't see things coming and leaving. When I woke up, I asked myself "what the fuck just happened?"

Enough about my personal life! There is only one thing we do when crap happens -- LAUGH.

I am loving the new promo!! Looks like Dean and Sam want to kill Cas!

I am also loving all the Supernatural news! I mean, season nine is definitely shaping up to be epic and massive!!! The show is really beefing up in the guest stars department. Tahmoh Penikett (Battlestar Galactica) has been cast as Ezekiel who Jeremy Carver described him as "a dignified warrior angel injured in the Fall."

Gildart Jackson has been cast to play a veteran member of the Men of Letters during a 1930 flashback. He will appear in 9.04 Slumber Party. THIS makes me very excited as I am a huge fan of the MoL!!!

Here are the episode titles so far:

9.02 Devil May Care
9.04 Slumber Party
9.05 Bad Boys Episode
9.06 Doggie Style

SDCC 2013 -- Supernatural

Source: TheWB
This year's SDCC went out with a bang! I mean, there wasn't a dull moment since Day 1. The past few days were intense! Those who slept outside Hall H and got in, you're epic! A fan sleep out is always fun! I hope I get to go next year.

The last day of Comic Con has always been my favorite because of Supernatural. This is a massive opportunity to add pretty photos to my library and to start thinking about season nine based on the information the panel gave us. I think if I have to use one word to describe this year's Comic Con, it'd be 'surprise'. There were plenty of surprises that blew fans pants off.

Source: TheWB
The biggest surprise is the appearance of Felicia Day (aka Charlie) on the panel. I love her character. Felicia has this smile that makes you smile, she is super cute! She is clearly a fan favorite. While it has been announced that season nine has big plan for Charlie, I think (and I hope) she will get more and more air time, just like how Crowley progresses on the show. I think she really adds great value to the show. I don't think her character was written to last in the first place, I am not so sure. But she is adding something different to the show, and I hope she will be more integral in season nine. Someone pointed out that Felicia was the first female appeared on the Supernatural panel in SDCC. That's awesome, bitches!

Source: TheWB
Another surprise is the announcement of a spin-off series based on a new character who will be introduced in or around episode 20. That episode will be served as a backdoor pilot to the new show. Pick up is not guaranteed, of course. The CW has this thing about creating spin-off, for example, The Originals -- The Vampire Diaries spin-off. But The Originals is different because Klaus and co have been around for a few seasons, they were established characters.

Source: TheWB
With the Supernatural spin-off, I am happy about the spin-off, but very surprised about the fact that it will be based on a new character. I would rather see a Garth, Charlie or Kevin spin-off, or Henry Winchester/ Men of Letters spin-off, or better, a John and Mary spin-off. This new character has to work in order for the spin-off to take off. It has to be a super epic character. I am very intrigued to see who this character is. It is certainly a very very interesting move. According to Huffington Post, episode 20 will be written by Andrew Dabb, and it will be more urban than on the cross country road trip feel.

Source: TheWB
Source: TheWB
I can't help but think about the idea -- Eric Kripke once had this idea for Supernatural, it was about a tabloid journalist traveling around the country fighting for the truth, rather than about two brothers. Perhaps the writers will go back to this idea? The other hot idea I have in mind is the Men of Letters spin-off, but I guess Jeremy and Bob would want to keep this for Supernatural. I can't wait to hear more about this new spin-off -- who is in it, what it is called, who will be the showrunner etc. This is a weird piece of surprise, but I really want to know more!

The panel itself was as fun as usual. Jensen and Jared were so hot, it's out of this world! Jeremy Carver was as careful as always. The cast was as playful as always. It was great to see Bob to be on the panel for the first time. It was rather sad not to have Ben Edlund on the panel.

Jensen and Jared were on the Nerd Machine panel. I haven't watched the video, but I will!!! I am not handling the hottness too well. I am having a 'melt down.' Haha.. Not to mention all the toys debate at SDCC. Shit! I need at least two weekends to go through everything I want to see from this epic geek fest!

For a full wrap up on the Supernatural panel, check out stuff from IGN, Zap2IT and TVGuide.

Once I have watched the panel a few times, and as more news surfaced, I'll be writing my thoughts and my wish list for season nine. I will also aim to get the season eight awards out before October with a few Twitter friends. Watch this space!

Last but not least, congrats to Jarpad and Gen on their second baby! They've been busy! Congrats! xoxo

Jensen and Jared in the Supernatural Cape! OMG!

I am not physically there, but I am as excited as everyone else. For the past few years, I have not stopped wondering what it would be like to be at Comic Con. The more I look at the tweets about the panels, photos, Hall H line, Ballroom 20, Outside Line, Inside Line, the more I want to be there. Hopefully it will be a reality to me next year. Yeah, it is hard to get SDCC tickets than the World Cup tickets.

The WB has updated their Comic Con website, so do check that site for stuff like photos and other media stuff. They posted an awesome photo early on today, and I am crying.. AH!!! Jensen and Jared are super cute and I really want that friggin cape!!!!

Source: WBSDCC
Check out the official press release for Supernatural events at SDCC here.

"Supernatural returns to Hall H at Comic Con on Sunday, July 21, from 10:00–11:00 AM with a special video presentation as well as a cast/producer Q&A. Recurring guest star Mark A. Sheppard joins series stars Padalecki, Ackles and Misha Collins alongside executive producers Jeremy Carver and Robert Singer. Additionally, the cast and executive producers will be signing for fans at the Warner Bros. booth (#4545) afterward at 12:45–1:30 PM."

You can also follow WB on Twitter.

Also, Jensen and Jared will appear on an off-site panel hosted by Nerd Machine at the NerdHQ. Jared, of course, has been a guest for the past two years, this year, we get Jensen too! I am too happy I am going to faint. A Conversation with Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles will take place on July 21, 2013, 2pm. Tickets are sold out! Sorry.

Last but not least, I have been trying to get the Essential Supernatural On the Road With Sam and Dean Winchester, but all copies were sold out in one weekend. Who would have thought this tiny little corner of the world that I am living in have Supernatural fans other than me? Anyway, thanks to my dentist, I now have a copy. I love it!

As you are aware, there have been a few spoilers about season nine, I am going to hold off until after the panel. I can't wait to see what Jeremy Carver and co have to say!! Woohoo!!

A Supernatural Cape -- Ah... Yes.. That's What I Just Said

Just when I thought things can't get anymore awesome, I saw the follow images this morning. I am not recovering well.

As you can imagine, I am crying. Why am I not at SDCC this year? Why do I live so far from the home of Supernatural and pop culture? Why am I not wearing this cape right friggin now? I needed professional help, and I advised my HOTLINE to keep her four eyes on eBay evilbay.

The WBTV Official Web and Huffington Post have full details about the WB sponsored showbags. The shows featured on this year's SDCC bags include Supernatural, Arrow, The Big Bang Theory, Revolution, The Following, The Vampire Diaries and The LEGO® Movie etc. They are all backpacks. Every attendee will get a showbag which is distributed randomly at registration. More than 130,000 bags are produced. Apparently fans do trade during the convention. So if I carry Kevin Bacon's face on my back, and you have a Supernatural bag that I want, let's trade. LET'S. But since I am not going, I'll look at my own *sad face*. I will buy this if you are selling. Contact me right now on Twitter! @tinybeanie

Remember the special hotel key cards? Supernatural was on a hotel key cards a few years back. This year, WB put Person of Interest on the key card. Press release here

It will be super cool to have Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D on the key cards. Then again, I AM NOT THERE, AM I? They are on the trolleys. Still cool! Can I have one?

Supernatural on the TV Guide Cover -- A Special Comic Con Edition

Last year, WB and TV Guide joined forces to put a few shows -- Supernatural, The Big Bang Theory, Fringe and The Vampire Diaries -- on the cover of TV Guide. The special copies were distributed at the WB Stand.

Fan sites such as Winchester Bros and Supernatural Tentation quickly tweeted a few images via Twitter and their websites to let fans know WB and TV Guide will once again release a special edition for this year's Comic Con. The image posted online doesn't give a full picture. From what I can see, Supernatural, Arrow and The Vampire Diaries will get two covers each. YAY! Check out the cover here.

Did I say Supernatural? Both Jensen and Jared will get a mags each. Arrow's Stephen Amell will get two. And I can't see TVD, probably no surprise there. Batman and Superman, the comic book version, will also get a cover each. Jared and Jensen have a hiatus look! I can't tell if they are in character or not. But who cares? So pretty! Swoon!

Last year, the WB has a designated web page for Comic Con where they put official releases, high res pictures of the TV Guide cover, panel videos and photos. The page is still there but it has not been updated for this year's event. But I am assuming it will, and I'll keep an eye on it. I am hoping to see the high res version of the covers. WB did an awesome in packaging the panel video, so I am hoping they will do the same this year.

For last year's covers, check them out here.

Supernatural Season 9 News!

DUDE! Honestly, is it October yet? The CW has announced the premier dates for their fall shows. It's gonna kill me to wait a bit longer than usual, but it's gonna be so good when things happen.

Supernatural season nine will premier on Tuesday, October 15 at 9pm at The CW. SpoilerTV has alerted fans that [spoilers] 9.01 is currently known as Devil May Care on the brief to casting agencies. Watch this space! For details, click here.

Supernatural will have a new buddy on Tuesdays -- The Originals, which also premiers on October 15. I am kinda excited about this new show. This fall is certainly looking very strong for the CW, keep in mind they also have The Tomorrow People and The 100

On other channels, I got Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D and Almost Human added to my to-watch list. I'll be interested to see all the news come out from SDCC later on this month and see the buzz from the press.

CW Fall Schedule 2013-2014; Supernatural Moves to Tuesdays

Source: CW
Before I went to bed last night, I was just having a chat with a few tweeps about the Fall Schedule, specifically the CW's schedule for Supernatural and Arrow

As I mentioned previously regarding Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D (S.H.I.E.L.D), I thought it will be TV war between DC and Marvel if both S.H.I.E.L.D and Arrow are on the same night. But as turned out, there won't be one. S.H.I.E.L.D will be on Tuesday nights at 8pm on ABC, and Arrow will stay on Wednesday nights at 8pm on the CW. This is a very exciting TV schedule for fans of the movie franchise, original comics, geeks, Joss Whedon and Stephen Amell's much appreciated abs.

Speaking of Tuesday nights, the CW has announced that Supernatural will move to Tuesdays at 9pm with The Originals (The Vampire Diaries spin-off) at 8pm. I don't mind the move, but I would prefer Supernatural and Arrow to be on the same night. Having said that, it is a business decision. The established shows, Supernatural (Tuesdays), Arrow (Wednesdays) and The Vampire Diaries (Thursday) will pair up with a new buddy each -- The Originals (Tuesdays), The Tomorrow People (Wednesday) and Reign (Thursday). The CW plays to its strength -- Tuesday nights and Wednesday nights look hot and hot guys!

One thing for sure, Tuesday nights are good nights for TV and for the CW. As long as Supernatural gets good rating, I am happy. We need good rating to get season ten. Let's stick together as a fandom and make this happen!

The CW has a few new shows this season. The Tomorrow People could be a hit and miss. But it certainly looks epic on paper! And it's a great show to keep male audience after Arrow on Wednesday nights. I'll watch it for Mark Pellegrino for sure! Reign is the first period drama CW has ordered. I kinda see the Tudors thing happening here. Then again, it's not something I'll be jumping on the fan wagon immediately. Speaking of new shows, The 100 certainly looks interesting too. But it does belong to the same genre as The Tomorrow People. The 100 is introduced during the mid-season.

Since last fall, I have been watching then-new shows, Arrow and Revolution, I've been on and off with Once Upon A Time. I think this fall will be equally exciting! If I can't watch them all, I'll definitely be getting the DVDs.

Here is the full press release from the CW. Here is the full press release from ABC.

Supernatural -- Misha Collins Promoted to Season Regular...Again

It isn't the first time Misha got promoted to a regular on Supernatural. After his promotion in season five, and back to a special guest star statue, Misha will once again get back on the cast list as a regular for season nine. Misha is loved, Castiel is loved!

I believe in Jeremy Carver. I think he will have a good Castiel story to tell. Castiel is going through some personal struggle, I think with the way the tablet storyarc is going, I think it just makes sense to have Castiel back as a regular. We won't see him in every episode, but we will see him more often than we have in season six to eight. He will be back later on this season.

Not only Misha will return as a regular in season nine, he will also direct an episode of Supernatural. OH.MY.GOD!

I love Castiel. I love him. I can start singing On My Own right now. Too much?

Supernatural Renewed for Season Nine

The CW has officially renewed three of the top genre shows -- Supernatural, Arrow and The Vampire Diaries! It's very early for The CW to do so, but I am not complaining because early is good. There is no reason to hold anything back!

Supernatural is officially renewed for season nine and fans are jumping with joys! It comes at no surprise for the renewal. The show is kicking ass this season, more so than the previous two. Supernatural is doing well with the on air rating, as well as digitally and socially. Good on you, CW, for taking digital and social into consideration!

Here is the official press release from The CW on the renewal.

Congratulations!
