Supernatural NEWS NEWS NEWS Plus Hot Pics, Episode Titles

I know I have been bad! I have had a very busy months. Things just hit me like a bullet train -- I didn't see things coming and leaving. When I woke up, I asked myself "what the fuck just happened?"

Enough about my personal life! There is only one thing we do when crap happens -- LAUGH.

I am loving the new promo!! Looks like Dean and Sam want to kill Cas!

I am also loving all the Supernatural news! I mean, season nine is definitely shaping up to be epic and massive!!! The show is really beefing up in the guest stars department. Tahmoh Penikett (Battlestar Galactica) has been cast as Ezekiel who Jeremy Carver described him as "a dignified warrior angel injured in the Fall."

Gildart Jackson has been cast to play a veteran member of the Men of Letters during a 1930 flashback. He will appear in 9.04 Slumber Party. THIS makes me very excited as I am a huge fan of the MoL!!!

Here are the episode titles so far:

9.02 Devil May Care
9.04 Slumber Party
9.05 Bad Boys Episode

Description: Supernatural 'Pac Man Fever' and 'The Great Escapist'

How's everyone surviving the silly two week hiatus? It sucks, I know! Here are the description of two upcoming Supernatural episodes, Pac Man Fever and The Great Escapist. My God! We are only a few episodes away from the season finale. Time flies when you have fun!

8.20 Pac Man Fever

DEAN INTRODUCES CHARLIE TO CHEAP PANTSUITS — Concerned about the physical toll the second trial took on Sam (Jared Padalecki), Dean (Jensen Ackles) benches his brother from hunting until he heals up. So, when geektastic hacker Charlie (guest star Felicia Day) stumbles upon a case and finds the boys, Dean decides it’s time to teach Charlie how to be a hunter-in-training. While happy to see 'her highness', the boys suspect Charlie is hiding something; a secret that could get her killed. Robert Singer directed the episode written by Robbie Thompson. Source: KSiteTV

Pac Man Fever airs on April 24.

8.21 The Great Escapist

FEELING LUCKY TONIGHT? — When Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) receive a distressing video message from Kevin Tran (guest star Osric Chau), they set about trying to uncover the Third Trial. The boys make a discovery that sends them to a casino in Colorado, to find a mysterious recluse (guest star Curtis Armstrong) who may be able to fill in the holes in Kevin’s research. Meanwhile, Crowley (guest star Mark Sheppard) is on a winning streak. Castiel (Misha Collins) tries to elude Naomi (guest star Amanda Tapping) and the angels hunting him. Robert Duncan McNeill directed the episode written by Ben Edlund. Source: KSiteTV

The Great Escapist airs on May 1. Hello Ben Edlund!

Supernatural 'Taxi Driver'; Episode Titles Update

Cas: "I knew it was you all along." Ted: "No, you didn't."
I am very excited about this episode. Read it and you will know why!

Description 8.19 Taxi Driver

SAM AND DEAN FACE THE SECOND TRIAL — Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) respond to a call from Kevin (guest star Osric Chau), who is terrified after hearing Crowley’s (guest star Mark Sheppard) voice in his head. After hearing Kevin’s news, Sam and Dean team up with reaper named Ajay (guest star Assaf Cohen), who helps them deal with the second trial from the Tablet. Meanwhile, Dean receives a visit from Naomi (guest star Amanda Tapping) and realizes he must find Benny (guest star Ty Olsson) and ask for a huge favor. Guy Bee directed the episode written by Eugenie Ross-Leming & Brad Buckner. Source: KSiteTV

So, ok, here is what I think.... I get the connection between Dean, Sam, Crowley, Kevin and Naomi, but Benny? They are involving Benny in what I see as a mytho heavy episode. OMFG! I cannot wait! I love Benny. Season eight is progressing epically in ways I cannot explain. OK.. I can, but I'll leave my thoughts to later.

GODS VS. ZOMBIES — Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) are stumped when they investigate a possible zombie case where an amnesiac man (guest star John Reardon) dies and then revives himself once a day. After the guy is attacked by the goddess Artemis (guest star Anna Von Hooft), Sam and Dean realize he’s not a zombie but instead a god, more specifically, Prometheus. Steve Boyum directed the episode written by Daniel Loflin.

Sounds like a fun filler episode to me! I love zombies!

Here is an updated list of episode titles. Traditionally the show came back with filler episodes such as Ghostfacers, Sam Interrupted, Family Remains and Like a Virgin. But season eight is doing something a bit different by kicking off with two extremely strong episodes mytho heavy episodes such as Torn and Frayed, and As Time Goes By. How will the rest of season eight look like in terms of the pace? I cannot wait!

My Two Cents -- Supernatural 'Torn and Frayed' Description

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and got all the pressies that were on your wishlist. Good times! We have a few days before the arrival of 2013. I have a few features to wrap up 2012. Watch this space!

And now... the episode description of Supernatural episode 8.10 Torn and Frayed

CASTIEL MUST SAVE A FELLOW ANGEL — Naomi (guest star Amanda Tapping) tells Castiel (Misha Collins) that Crowley (guest star Mark Sheppard) is holding an angel captive and Castiel must rescue him before Crowley finds out their secrets. Castiel turns to Dean (Jensen Ackles) for help. Meanwhile, Sam (Jared Padalecki) meets with Amelia (guest star Liane Balaban) who asks him to make a choice: stay with her or leave and never contact her again. Robert Singer directed the episode written by Jenny Klein. Source: KSite

I would have liked to see we return in the new year with Sam and Amelia ALREADY sorted out their relationship. Sam had already left Amelia and he saw her with Don in the living room. Why is the Sam and Amelie storyarc going in circle like a typical chic flick? Because it IS a chic flick! This is the only thing I am not emotionally investing in. Moreover, this storyarc gets very out of place in the midst of 'saving people, hunting things, protecting the prophet'. However, this could sort of explain Sam's behaviour and state of mind -- he is distracted, he is at a crossroad (not the demon related crossroad), and he gets grumpy more easily than before. This storyarc needs to end!

But on the very positive side, we are back with the season's mythology. We are back with Naomi, Cas, and Crowley. What could Crowley be possibly find out from this angel who's been held captive? When will Naomi meet the Winchesters?

I cannot wait!!! January 16, please come now!

However, when Martin tells Sam there was a vampire kill and he thinks Benny is responsible, Dean defends his friend. When Martin decides to take things into his own hands, things get messy and Dean is forced to make a very hard decision. Nick Copus directed the episode written by Daniel Loflin.

Bitch fight!!! Woooo.... I hope this Benny and Sam thing will be resolved soon. I hope Benny will prove him wrong. Please keep your nose clean! Show us hope!

Supernatural: DJ Qualls, Felicia Day, Amanda Tapping, 'A Little Slice of Kevin' Description

I am back, and so are a few guest stars.

*Applaud*

A few announcements first..

Do I miss home? Not really. It's America I miss. That's right. If anyone wants to swap with me, contact me immediately! Australia is great -- sunshine, great coffee, you got New Zealand as your friendly neighbor.

The only thing I miss about home is my hairdryer. It's the one thing I cannot live without, apart from Jensen Ackles and Supernatural of course. Happiness!

So I was in the Creation Entertainment's Salute to Supernatural -- Chicago 2012 last week. It was epic! I cannot begin to use word to describe my feelings. I might be suffering from a pro-convention depression, but I will overcome this by sharing with you my photos and experience. I have taken approximately 2,000 photos during the convention, I am pretty sure 50% of them were Jensen Ackles related! Can you blame me? This guy CANNOT look ugly. So anyway, I will leave my thoughts and experience to the dedicated posts. Please watch this space or follow me on Twitter @tinybeanie for update.

I am also in the process of creating another blog which is travel and food related. Since I have just returned from New York and Chicago, I will be sharing my photos and experience in that new blog. Again, please watch this space or follow me on Twitter @tinybeanie for update.

I was lucky to leave New York before Super Storm Sandy hit New York. It is very sad to see all the images of effected areas. Especially the streets of New York, I had just literally walked through a few days before the storm hit. My thoughts are with those who have been effected. I know many convention fans were stuck in Chicago, I hope they got home ok.

I have the pleasure meeting DJ Qualls last week and MAN he is a natural speaker and a genuine nice guy! Very funny and friendly. I hugged him and I want to hug him again! It's no secret that he is returning and he will be on next week's episode Southern Comfort. Can Garth be the new Bobby? Bobby is irreplaceable, but Garth is awesome. Give him a chance! New chemistry can mean new perspective, and I welcome fresh blood to the show. More pics can be seen via KSiteTV

Felicia Day will also return as Charlie. I love her. Do you? What's there not to love? Can Creation Entertainment invites her to a convention already?! Please!! Felicia is already back on set as per her tweet. Felicia will return for 8.11 LARP and the Real Girl. This episode will focus on LARPing in fandom, obviously, which is always fun. The last time we come across LARPing was Monster At The End Of The Book and The Real Ghostbusters, which I love! Can't wait to see how this episode will look like! Source: Zap2It

The photos of Amanda Tapping in the up-coming episode are released! She will join the cast in 8.07 A Little Slice of Kevin. I love Amanda! She is one of my favorite characters on one of my favorite TV shows -- Stargate SG1 and Atlantis. This is really personal, because there is nothing better than seeing my favorite actors to guest star on my favorite show. There is more to the A Little Slice of Kevin, we will see [spoilers] the official return of Castiel. It's about bloody time!!! I miss Misha Collins!!! We will also see Kevin, Mrs Tran and Mark Sheppard. I love this episode already!!!

Here is the official description of 8.07 A Little Slice of Kevin:

CASTIEL ESCAPES PURGATORY — Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) are stunned when Castiel (Misha Collins) suddenly appears back on Earth with no memory of how he escaped from Purgatory. Meanwhile, Mrs. Tran (guest star Lauren Tom) enlists a witch (guest star Cyrina Fiallo) to concoct a demon bomb, but the witch double crosses Mrs. Tran and turns her and Kevin (guest star Osric Chau) over to Crowley (guest star Mark Sheppard). Charlie Carner directed the episode written by Eugenie Ross–Leming & Brad Buckner. Source: KSiteTV

Supernatural - It's Almost Time, It's Ackles Time; Up Coming Episodes Titles Update

It's almost time! It's Ackles time!

The Jensen Ackles directed episode Heartache will air tonight on The CW. I will attempt to write a super quick review on this episode as #ChiCon approaches!

I don't understand...how does he manage to look so hot, directs well and performs brilliant all in one episode?

Look out for Alan Ackles (Jensen's dad). And of course, finally we will hopefully get to see what Sam's been up in the last year. Was it just the girl and the dog? Did something else happen? I mean, it's Sam we are talking about, so I am kinda expecting something 'supernatural' related did happen during the last year.

Description -- Ep 8.03 Heartache: JENSEN ACKLES DIRECTS — Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) investigate a string of unusual murders where the victims were all recipients of organs from the same donor. The killer is captured, but things become even more complicated when the brothers find their killer in a trance mumbling an ancient prayer. Jensen Ackles directed the episode written by Brad Buckner and Eugenie Ross-Leming.

And here is an update on the up-coming episodes:

8.01   We Need to Talk About Kevin
8.02   What's Up, Tiger Mommy?
8.03   Heartache

SUPER-ARROW Wednesday; SPN 'BITTEN' Pics & Episode Titles Update; Arrow's Series Premiere

Damn! This is the first SUPER-ARROW Wednesday ever on the CW. Wednesday (Thursday Aussie time) is my favorite day of the week! Arrow and Supernatural are like TV brothers now.

Arrow series premieres on Wednesday, October 10. The buzz is epic, I think the marketing team is doing an amazing job. I am not a comic book person, but I'd be interested to see the digital comic of Arrow from the pop culture perspective and see how this campaign works. On Wednesday, DC is launching a companion digital comic book to expand the show's mythology. A very smart strategy! For TV fans such as myself (not a comic book fan), watching Smallville was the first time I was exposed to Green Arrow/ Oliver Queen. I'd be interested to see how Stephen Amell interprets Green Arrow/ Oliver Queen, Katie Cassidy as Laurel Lance/ Black Cannery and how good the pilot is. I cannot wait!!!

What's more exciting about Arrow is that, David Nutter and Guy Bee are attached to the directing jobs so far. And he has great things to say about it! Guy is one of my favorite directors, and David Nutter is one of the most prolific directors around. In Nutter and Bee, I trust!

Official Description -- Arrow: The Pilot

“FROM DC COMICS ENTERTAINMENT AND UBER PRODUCERS GREG BERLANTI, MARC GUGGENHEIM AND ANDREW KREISBERG COMES A STORY OF A MAN TRYING NOT ONLY TO SAVE HIS CITY, BUT TO SAVE HIMSELF — After a violent shipwreck, billionaire playboy Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell, Hung and Private Practice) was missing and presumed dead for five years before being discovered alive on a remote island in the Pacific. Back in Starling City, Oliver slowly reconnects with those closet to him, his devoted mother Moira (Susanna Thompson, Cold Case andKings), beloved sister Thea (Willa Holland, Gossip Girl and The O.C.), and best friend Tommy Merlyn (Colin Donnell, Pan Am), but struggles with his ex-girlfriend Dinah “Laurel” Lance (Katie Cassidy, Gossip Girl and Melrose Place), who blames him for her sister’s death. Oliver has brought back many new skills from his time on the island and despite the watchful eye of his new bodyguard John Diggle (David Ramsey, Dexter and Blue Bloods), Oliver manages to secretly create the persona of Arrow – a vigilante – to right the wrongs of his family and fight the ills of society. As Arrow, Oliver will atone for the past sins of his family while he searches for the personal redemption he needs. Paul Blackthrone also stars. David Nutter directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti and Marc Guggenheim and teleplay by Andrew Kreisberg & Marc Guggenheim (101).” Source KSiteTV

Moving on to Supernatural, the promo pics for 8.04 Bitten are out! And they are hot! But of course you know that already?

Two of my favorite new directors and writers are attached to this episode -- Thomas J. Wright (director) and Robbie Thompson (writer). Here is the official description of 8.04 Bitten.
