Joss Whedon Returns For More Marvel Stuff

This is the news fans, including myself, have been waiting for. It has been confirmed last week by Marvel Studios that Joss Whedon has signed an exclusive deal with the studios for film and television for the next 3 year. He will write and direct The Avengers 2, and will help develop a new live television series for Marvel TV at ABC.

We know Joss was thinking about it and wasn't sure. But news about his involvement in The Avengers 2 is welcoming, I am so happy I am going to cry. Quality is ensured. Happiness is guaranteed!

It's no secret that Marvel's next phase is to extend their presence in television. Joss' creative contribute will possibly set television history for the next decade or more. Imgaine if a Marvel television series is picked up and do a 'Smallville' (i.e. run 10 years), it will make fans very happy and entertainment is endless! It is also interesting to note that ABC is having success with Once Upon A Time, so they definitely have an existing audienceship of family viewers and they will have no trouble attracting other fans to watch Joss' creation. The CW is capturing that superhero fanbase of WB/ DC as Arrow takes the center stage in Fall. Healthy competition is good and it's the fans who will benefit from the superhero genre. Move over cop and medical dramas!

It's been awhile since Joss has a television project, so whatever Joss is doing, it will excite fans in ways we have not been excited before. Yeah.. I said it.

Read all about the announcement here.

Review: Joss Whedon's The Avengers [Excuse me while I geek out]

The moment has arrived for fans from Earth. The excito-meter isn't going to come down until fans say so. The movie has SMASHED the box office record, I usually don't give a damn about box office and I still don't. But this is a huge victory for Joss Whedon. We are unanimous on Joss' achievement -- The Avengers is close to perfection. Rarely a movie is so awesome I need and want to watch it again straight away. Last time I watched a movie twice in a week was Inception. Great flick but because I didn't understand it the first time, I had to watch it again.
"[Inception] was probably just about the most ambitious film I've ever seen… wait a goddamn second… Marvel Studios is going to take all their top superheroes and put them all in The Avengers? That's the most ambitious movie I've ever seen." -- Robert Downey Jr, Comic Con 2010
2 years ago at Comic Con
It feels like yesterday when the cast of The Avengers was gathered and introduced to fans at San Diego Comic Con. (PS: That was the year when a fan was stabbed by a pencil. I thought I just throw it out there.) It's a plan five years in the making. The studios has been working around the clock to make Iron Man, Captain America, Thor and The Avengers. Marvel certainly knows how to get fans excited, they don't let us wait, they don't forget us. Marvel knows how important it is to make a great superhero movie for fans.

2 years later at the red carpet Premier of The Avengers
I've mentioned previously that Marvel has done this right. Something like the Avengers movies initiative have never been done before by any studios and I doubt anyone would take that leap after what Marvel has achieved. While individual films such as Iron Man, Thor and Captain America were successful, there was no guarantee that The Avengers would deliver. We are not just talking about fans who are devoted to one hero, we are talking about all of them. The pressure was on, and there is no turning back the moment Marvel announced the official go-ahead. If the Academy of Old people could only cast one vote for one superhero movie for the Best Picture and Director and Screenplay in their life time, The Avengers is the winner.

O Captain! My Captain!
Most superhero characters have been done to death, every few years we have a Batman, Superman and Spiderman movie, other superhero films were 'just another superhero movie'. Someone has to raise their hands and say "are we not capable of doing something new?" Iron Man, Captain America and Thor were a little less known to movie-goers unless you're comic book buffs. But finally we have some new superheroes to watch on the big screen! Could this be the decade of Marvel Studios? Could Marvel be the Apple to PC in the film industry? Is it just me or The Avengers is the iPhone fans have been waiting to line-up for?
SHOWMANSHIP
I am not a comic book fan, but I happen to know a few. They know their heroes and they know every story in every timeline and crossover there is. They grew up with this stuff!  On on hand, diehard fans are the one the studios need to please, but on the other hand there are people who aren't comic book fans such as myself. I knew little about Captain America, so I had to rely on Wikipedia to know every fibre of the story. Marvel has put me under influence and I confess -- I Google'd Howard Stark. Don't judge me! I like fondue too.

MY HERO!!
Marvel Studios truly flexes their muscles! The recruitment of crew and cast were flawless. Despite having multiple directors and writers to drive individual movies, everyone involved share the same vision. The connection was never lost. Finding Easter eggs and the bonus scenes in Iron Man, Thor and Captain America were one of the key things I looked forward the most.

The quest of finding the right writer and director was important, should they have chosen a more seasoned director/ writer -- let's say James Cameron or Tim Burton or JJ Abrams -- the outcome might have been different…not necessarily bad, but just different from what Joss Whedon has achieved with The Avengers. Joss totally brought his A game. This is his win and this is the moment for him to shine and flick Fox the finger!

Joss Whedon is no stranger to fans, his cult status is God-like. The most important thing about Joss is that, he is a fan, he made stuff he'd want to watch. For those who are not familiar with Joss' previous works may not have realise it but The Avengers has his style written all over it. Only writers like Joss can find a place for each character to shine through the snappy dialogues, the awesome one-liners. the humor, the characterisation. The humor, action and dialogues were just perfectly integrated.

"He is my brother!" [He killed 80 people.] "He is adopted."
I think equity itself plays a big part in this movie, Joss was able to give each hero a good amount of quality screen time and it's well integrated into the story. Team dynamic plays a huge role in The Avengers. While each superhero is awesome, they don't necessary play well together as a team. Joss wrote a great story, each character's story was told beautifully. I didn't feel any character was stealing thunders or anything, they all had their moment to shine one way or another. Every character is capable to shine regardless of who they are; every character is capable of standing up and be a hero; every character is capable of having a sense of humor; everyone is capable of having that kick ass moment.

When Iron Man the movie first came out, I didn't care so much. I thought it was just another superhero movie. But it has grown on me. Robert Downey Jr was born to play the genius billionaire playboy philanthropist. He totally owns this role. I love the Iron Man armour in The Avengers. The man has style.. like GQ style! SHOWMANSHIP is what RDJ/ Tony Stark/ Iron Man is all about! I totally geeked out when Tony Stark revealed he was a big fan of Bruce Banner. PS: I've been a fan of RDJ since Chaplin.

Just when I thought Tony Stark/Iron Man was taking the lead, Captain America finished strong as a leader and calling points. I love Captain America/ Steve Rogers. [OK time out!! my friends know that Jensen Ackles will always be my Captain America.] But Chris Evens has done a brilliant job, I almost have a girl crush! I can't cheat on Jensen, I did say "almost" didn't I? Chris Evens is growing on me! I watched a few of his movies, but never really paid attention. Being Captain America is the best thing he'd ever done as an actor and I am so glad he didn't turn down the role afterall. I like the Cap, I love the backstory, I love how old fashion he is. I love the fact that the world's first hero was a tiny person, a human with a good heart. And he gets the monkey joke! What's not to love about the man in tights? PS I like his suit in Captain America: The First Avengers better. I hear some girls said "I like him without it."

"I kick Green Arrow's ass!"
Just when I thought Agent Coulson was a minor supporting character, he became a hero. Coulson has appeared in all previous movies except Captain America: The First Avenger. I love characters like Coulson. If there is an Avengers convention, I am so going to pay to hug him. I LOVE the fact that he went all fanboy on Captain America. I just totally LOVE those moments! Oh Coulson, you are so cute! Coulson is us! What about Nick Fury? Can Samuel L Jackson get any cooler than this? He is so cool, I need a jacket whenever I see him on screen. I've loved his acting since Pulp Fiction.

I like Hawkeye/ Clint Barton. Too bad we didn't really get to see a lot of him, but I think he could totally kick Green Arrow's ass. I am interested in knowing his backstory and the story between him and Black Widow. Hawkeye has one of the hottest shots in the movie, when he threw himself off the building, he turned around and shot the arrow to the wall of the building and smashed through the window. HOT! I like Jeremy Renner, I think he is very down to earth and he is a good actor. I've named his biceps -- Jeremy 1 and Jeremy 2. Creative, I know! I name everything.

"I totally see how this is a party.."
Scarlett Johansson said in a recent interview that Joss is gender blind. Aren't we all sick of the whole "why do you write these strong female characters?" thing? "Why don't you ask the other 100 guys who don't?" [Joss Whedon, Equality Now's award acceptance speech.] Only two female characters were featured in the movie, I like them a lot! Black Widow was awesome, I really like Scarlett in this role, while Black Widow may not be as iconic as Catwoman or Wonder Woman, I'll pick Black Widow anyway! She has flaws and a past that haunted her, a past she wanted to wipe clean. To me, she is like Sarah Walker from Chuck, the kind of strong female character who has a dark past but now she is kicking ass and saving people. I dig that. Scarlett has been in many movies, but I see why she is one of the hottest properties in Hollywood, she really tried to do different roles and she is more than just a pretty face. Girl crush!

Black Widow as a Nanny.. I knew it! I knew she was a spy!
My trip to Lexington Candy, NY.
I just can't help it every time I see Scarlett and Chris Evens in same scene together in The Avengers. It's funny to me, because they were in The Nanny Diaries (2007) together, ScarJo was Annie the Nanny, and Chris was Harvard Hottie. Rarely I like a chick flick, but I like The Nanny Diaries for some really strange reasons, may be I just love every movie filmed in New York? I even went to Lexington Candy in Upper East Side to eat pancakes when I went to NY last year. Yummy!

The other guy wants to come out and play..
If I really really really like really have to single out one or two characters that I really dig, I would pick the Hulk and Loki. Because they were a surprise hit for me. I never like the Hulk, I never understand him. To me, it's always like "Banner gets angry...he looses his shit...he goes green and incredibly big...he smashes things...he loses his pants...the end." What's missing in the previous Hulk films is the hero aspect of the green man, and this hero aspect really shined through in The Avengers. He didn't just smash, he was a team player and he was a hero. Kudos to Joss's take on the character and Mark Ruffalo's awesome performance.

I think the Hulk/ Bruce Banner has a LOT of Joss in him. I like the fact that Bruce Banner is not glamorous like Tony Stark, he doesn't want to get involved, he distances himself from the limelight, he doesn't think being hero is his thing. The whole gamma rays experience had put Banner in a very dark place for a very long time. Stark had this conversation with Banner about whether he realised that 'the there guy' actually saved his life. 'The other guy' had a purpose in Banner's life and he could use this for greater good. Once he realised this, he embraced it and be the hero he was born to be. I think this is ultimately the point of the Hulk/ Bruce Banner. And the Hulk is what Joss Whedon is all about. Joss is an atheist and made a point when the Hulk smashed Loki and I think he'd rather believe in humanity and heroes before he believes god.

"I am a god...." SMASH SMASH SMASH... SMASH
I love Loki because of the actor who played him. Tom Hiddleston totally shined in The Avengers, and he certainly improved a lot since Thor. Not that he was not good or anything, he was really good, but Tom was awesome in The Avengers! His good performance stole one or two scenes! I love his acting, his accent and his craft. From what I can see, Tom is one of the most fun actors around. And Loki could be funny. Joss humanised every character, even the villain is entitled to at least one or two funny moments. And that was totally unexpected.

Speaking of Thor, I knew I forgot someone. I totally think he should call Natalie Portman! It's always great to have an Aussie around. I really like Chris Hemsworth, I know every now and then, there is an Aussie in friggin everything. But I like him, and he should stick around more.. afterall, he is a God of Thunder. Can't wait to watch Thor II.

"The idea was to bring together a group of remarkable people, see if they could become something more." They sure did.
To 3D or not to 3D -- that's the question. For the first time in a long time, I am glad I watched the movie in 3D! You know how fuzzy I am when it comes to 3D movies. But The Avengers has done it right!!! The shots were well designed, and those shots were not lazy. Not only I felt like I was standing on the alien turtle, some of the fight scenes were actually very comic-y. I can't wait to watch the special feature on the DVD, not to mention the extra 30 mins footage and the bonus bonus scene Australia didn't get to see!!! SNAP!

"Does this taco taste funny to you?"
The other thing is the music. When I found out Alan Silvestri was doing the scores for the movie, I was excited. Silvestri is one of my favorite movie score composers. Why? Four words -- Back to the Future! Silvestri also composed Captain America: The First Avenger.

"I watched you sleep."
Coulson *fell asleep* believing in superheroes, and I still believe in Joss Whedon. Marvel Studios had announced The Avengers II is already in the works. For pie sake, I hope they get Joss back to write and direct. The world won't be the same without him. In Joss we trust.

The Avengers world premiere -- the cast is so good, it cures cancer!

You know that song from Jack Johnson -- Sitting, Waiting, Wishing. This song always plays in my head when situation like this arises. All the sitting, waiting and wishing are getting on my nerves! Are you feeling it? How long have fans been waiting for this moment?

The moment is here...Well…almost!

That purple suit cures cancer! It's so damn sexy!
What a good looking and talented cast! The Avengers is not too far away to rescue fans from sitting, waiting and wishing.. The world premiere of The Avengers took place today at the El Capitan Theatre in LA with Joss Whedon and the full cast. It's not like you can't name them and their characters already, but here they are and they were all there at the red carpet today:

Robert Downey Jr. -- Tony Stark / Iron Man
Chris Evans -- Steve Rogers / Captain America
Scarlett Johansson -- Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow
Chris Hemsworth -- Thor
Jeremy Renner -- Clint Barton / Hawkeye
Samuel L. Jackson -- Nick Fury
Tom Hiddleston -- Loki
Mark Ruffalo -- Bruce Banner / The Hulk
Clark Gregg -- Agent Phil Coulson
Cobie Smulders -- Maria Hill
Stellan Skarsgård -- Professor Erik Selvig

Alert! Girl crush! Scarlett looks absolutely stunning! Miss her blonde hair.
Harvard Hottie reunites with Annie the Nanny..
Joss is doing heaps of interviews lately. I saw a tweet this morning from a fan that this is the year of Joss Whedon. I agree. Joss is definitely the man to drive this film. Every director out there can say, "Oh yeah I am a fan of the comic, I can do this, I can do that.." But Joss is a fanboy, he is adored by fans, he was born to direct this. Just like the cast was born to play their roles.

I like that Jesus dude but I worship Joss Whedon.
Again.. purple suit cures cancer..
Oh Jeremy Renner.. You're the only good thing in 28 Weeks Later.
Every now and then we, as fans, disagree with casting of our superheroes. For me, I don't care so much about up-coming and recently superhero movies such as Superman, Spiderman or Green Lantern, neither the cast nor the story excites me. But you know when something works for you, it just works for you. It's highly subjective, but that's the fun of being a fan. The Avengers totally works for me.

I am never a superhero movie kinda girl, I don't read comic books, half the time I have to rely on Wikipedia. But I love a good action movie every now and then, these days movies are so expansive to watch especially the 3D ones, they make everything freaking 3D. You almost don't have a choice during school holiday, you just have to suck it up if you want to watch a movie in the theatre. If the movie was made with 3D cameras, I'd go for it, because it's real. It's not like fake 3D where studios just convert a movie into 3D. I was watching Titanic 3D the other night, while it was 'ah memories', I was disappointed with the 3D element. Anyway.. All I am saying is, I just need to make sure my money is well spent if I am going to the movie, 3D or not. And this.. this is something I will definitely pay to watch.

Australia gets the release date of April 25. You bet I'll blog about it!

All photos are from Agent M, Marvel and Getty Images

The Avengers LEGO game will also debut on May 4. I am no gamer, but I like cute stuff. I love how it looks exactly like the movie poster.

One last thing, I was browsing the Marvel website.. Funny thing advertising placement is... The DC/ WB Smallville DVD ad is on the Marvel/ Disney site. Just saying!

Baby News, Congrats to Jarpad & Gen; Dean's New Jacket; Party On, Garth; The Avengers; Game of Thrones

First and foremost, congratulations to Jarpad and Gen on their new birth baby, Thomas Colton. Sleep, they must. Hope Gen is enjoying motherhood, and the family is doing well and getting rest.

Just Jared spotted Jared on set on Tuesday 27 March.

There was also sighting of Jensen... It's about bloody time Dean chooses a new leather jacket. And we love it! A few of us talked about how hot his new jacket is -- from the style to its length; from his butt to his legs (again!)

I wonder what the guys at the back are thinking...

My review on Born Again Identity is being delay due to real life. Sorry about that, but I have started. Just need to finish it and I will!! Watch this space. There is something we look forward to... Party On, Garth!!

In other news.. The Avengers are being heavily promoted and it will only get bigger. I saw a really new pop-up board promo at a cinema in Sydney and I was in Hong Kong last week and there it was, I couldn't help it. Twilight, move over!

Sydney
Hong Kong
Marvel also posted this photo, you can see Joss, the two Chris and RDA. I love this photo so much!!!

Before I forget, Game of Throne season two premieres April 1 on HBO. At least I've finished reading A Clash of Kings. There are definitely a few scenes I am so looking forward to see. And I love Dany and her dragons. BRING IT!

This is such a great promo!!! Fantastic stuff!

18 October 2011

Avengers Assemble!

Last weekend, the cast of The Avengers made an appearance at New York Con. I was actually surprised, a little, how enjoyable the panel was. Tom Hiddleston, Clark Gregg and Mark Ruffalo were funny! Chris Evens was so nervous, so cute! You can watch the full panel here! I do recommend it, because it was great!

I was hoping to see RDJ, Scarlett and most importantly Joss Whedon to be there, but they couldn't make it. Which leads to my next question, when will we see the entire team of the Avengers on stage or at any press campaigns? There are definitely enough cast member to make a 2-day convention! I'll go.. For a summary of the panel, check out Film Critic.

Both Tom Hiddleston and Clark Gregg both sang on stage.. funny and awesome! And I am so glad to hear from Mark Ruffalo that his 'Ruffalised' Bruce Banner is more mature! I found the previous Banner so annoying, like he can never control himself. When he gets angry, buildings collapsed!

Can't wait to see this movie!!

12 October 2011

The Avengers -- First Official Trailer (High Ten!)

I woke up for this.... The first official trailer for The Avengers is mind blowing..

The one thing that I most look forward to is the dialogues. From what I can tell from the trailer, Joss Whedon has nailed the dialogues and the team dynamic. In a way, yes, it's not the usual Joss Whedon stuff, if you don't know who wrote and directed this movie, you can't tell it's the work of Joss. However, once you see the character interaction and dialogues, I think you will see Joss' signature stuff. From what I can see, I think he, the cast and the crew have done a great job.

This is already one of my all time favorite movies. I cannot wait!!! The Avengers releases in Australia on April 25, 2012, that's one week ahead of the US. Take that!

Marvel Studios will present some footage and participate on a panel at New York Comic Con this weekend -- Saturday, October 15 from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. ET. Marvel Studios will debut never-before-seen footage from the film, and panelists will include Kevin Feige (Producer), Chris Evans (Captain America), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Clark Gregg (Agent Coulson), and Cobie Smulders (Agent Hill). For more info here.

Tuesday Edition: Acklemanic; Joss Whedon

What a crazy week it has been in the real world?! I need 48 hours a day to work. But when I am not working, blogging is what I love to do. Looks like we have a few things for today. So let's get to it, shall we?

Acklemanic
The term was used by Jimmy Kimmel when Jensen Ackles was on his show a few years ago. LOL. Paul McDermott from an Aussie TV program, Good News Week, mentioned a website called "I worshipped Jensen Ackles's ass." I don't know if the website was legit.

Anyway. When I was doing my news sourcing this week, I dug out a few fan-sites voiced their casting choices for a few potential movies that are rumored to be in the development stage. Having missed out on being Captain America (you now I can't help it!), Jensen was again fans' choice for a number of movie characters. While he may not be everyone's choice, yes, we fans have creative differences and we sometimes respect each other O_o, I think it's about fudging time Jensen to be on a big screen for a major role that we all love. I love fancast, I mean, fans do make great casting choices. And fans know what they are talking about.

Oh long live the Resident Evil franchise!a I know Resident Evil 4 is just about to come out in October. And many fans were kind of hoping to see Leon S Kennedy to be in the movie, but he is not featured in Resident Evil 4. While there is no confirmation on Resident Evil 5 (and Hollywood is Hollywood, there is always talk but never say never), if this is going ahead, we should definitely see Leon S Kennedy. I don't play video games, but I know Leon is one of the main characters, so they have to include him eventually. This blogger (and I agree with him) said that if Resident Evil 5 is happening, Jensen Ackles should be cast as Leon S Kennedy. Source: ComicBookMovie

I have only watched the 3rd one, I think. Not sure if I'll watch the 4th one. But if there is a 5th one with Jensen as Leon Flipping Kennedy, I will definitely watch it! Here is the trailer of Resident Evil 4:

That's not all, it's not new news that Marvel Studios is thinking about a Craptastic Four Reboot. Anyway, Obsessed with Film has recently blogged about the franchise reboot and his director and casting choices for the Fantastic Four team and the baddies. Casting choice including Jeffrey Dean Morgan for Ben Grimm The Thing.

And of course, when it comes to casting the new Johnny Storm aka the Human Torch (previously played by Chris Evans who is now Captain America and er.. Lucas Lee..), the blogger has selected... wait for it..... wait for it... Jensen '
who-is-inevitably-going-to-end-up-with-a comic-book-gig-at-some-point' Ackles!!!! If Jensen is the new Johnny Storm, I will start calling the movie Fantastic Four. LOL. I never thought of it, I mean, YEAH, I can totally see it! Source: Obsessed with Film

On to my next obsession, Joss Whedon told the Sunday Herald-Sun recently in an interview, “It is true that the movie is only going to have one female avenger…But she [Black Widow] will not be the only female character”. I was hoping Natalie Portman will return as Jane Foster from Thor. Here is ScreenRent's take on this information from Joss. Read more on Joss's interview on MovieHole.

Joss is speaking at the Sydney Opera House this Sunday. Yours truly is attending the 90-minute talk. OMG, it will be so awesome!!!

25 July 2010

Comic Con 2010 - Best of Day 3 (OH MY!)

Between Inception, zombies dream, Xmas in July and just because it's Sunday here, I hope I am not dreaming. Comic Con this year just gets bigger with guests, news and major announcement.

Call me whatever, but I actually wasn't expecting Chris Evans to be on-site at this year's ComicCon. I was half-expecting a satellite interview or something. G4TV did an on-site interview with Captain America's director Joe Johnson, Chris Evans and Hugo Weaving.

Screen Rent has posted a summary of the Captain America panel. The Chris Evans Blog has posted some amazing photos from Chris' appearance at Comic Con. Go check it out!

I am sure I'll watch Thor because I want to see Natalie Portman, who confirmed that she won't appear in The Avengers. USAToday has a report on the panel.

Onto The Avengers. Some big announcements were made about the casting of Hawkeye and Hulk. Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner. Someone was saying Ruffalo's mum was in the VIP line to the panel or something.. That confirmed it alright! Seriously, this is official.

There's more! Here comes the main course for me! Did anyone actually expect to see the cast of
The Avengers on stage at Comic Con this year? I certainly wasn't!! Kevin Feige, Marvel's President showed the fans an Avengers video of the logo narrated by Nick Fury (aka Samuel L Jackon). And then Samuel L Jackson were on stage introducing the cast of The Avengers to stage - Agent Coulson, followed by Scarlett Johansson, then Chris Hemsworth, then Chris Evans then Robert Downey jr.! oh my!

When Joss was on stage, he said, "I have had a dream all my life and it was not this good. This cast is more than I could have ever hoped for. And I am going to blow it. So I need your love; I need your support." The crowd went nuts!

[Update: I found a better HD quality video] This is nuts! Samuel L Jackson introducing the cast from the beginning. Followed by RDJ introducing new cast members.

Seriously, who could handle a big cast and handle their relationships and the story well, and who's loved by fans for years? Joss Whedon is certainly the man!

Read it all at
io9. USAToday also has a great summary including Thor, Captain America and The Avengers. If you want the minute by minute report, definitely check out the MTV Splash Page!!

Now that it's official, director of
The Avengers, Joss Whedon is comfortably talking about it. io9 has an awesome video interview with Joss.

The question is: Where is hell is DC? Marvel certainly went all out with the Avengers!

OK so, don't forget!!!
Sunday 25 July, the Super-Best-One-Two-Punch on TV, Smallville and Supernatural will have their panel on stage. Geoff Johns will moderate Smallville, Brian Truitt will moderate the Supernatural panel.

23 July 2010

Comic Con 2010 - Best of Day 1

When I woke up this morning, my Twitter time line was exploded with Comic Con tweets. Thanks all who tweeted. Sleep well, eat well, drink more! Because my life depends on you for the next few days!

Here are a few things I care about:

I was catching all the live tweets during work today. How could I not do that? I couldn't miss the Joss Whedon and JJ Abrams panel! Seriously! I am officially (again) excited about
The Avengers, Joss Whedon is definitely directing it, he is still working on the script etc.

Check out the full report by Comic Book Resources. You can also watch the video of the panel at SpoilerTV. You can also check out Whedonesque and follow them on Twitter.

I have recently, very recently... in fact it was two nights ago, finished watching Firefly. It was a great series! I can see why fans are so in love with the series. Whedon is clearly an original thinker and it's inspirational. I can't wait to see what he's got for The Avengers, which is like one of the biggest movies.

Cast of The Big Bang Theory was at the signing today. CBSTweets posted some really awesome photos on Twitpic today. Go there now and check them out! You can also follow CBS on Twitter.

Source: CBSTweets

The Big Bang Theory
panel is on today (Friday 23 July) at 12:45pm. The panel will be moderated by
Wil Wheaton. Did you know, you can also follow Kunal Nayyar (aka Dr Koothrappali) on Twitter?

MTV Splash Page has live stream too, so go check it out here. They also have a dedicate page on SDCC. They posted a photo yesterday, it's gotta be one of my favorites.
