I woke up this morning and saw news after news after news from Twitter

Yes, that's right. I don't have a proper headline for today. But boy, was I happy with everything I saw on Twitter this morning? And it turns out, I also have an amazing day at work.

Jim Beaver tweeted earlier today that he is in Vancouver and confirmed he is in the episode Jensen is directing!

EW's Michael Ausiello has reported that the CW has confirmed the return of Grandpa Samuel (aka Mary's father, played by The X-Files' Mitch Pileggi). The show's new runner Sera Gamble said that unlike the Winchesters (John's side), the Campbells (Mary's side) is a hunter family. The Campbells has been a mystery, Mary has been a mystery to the viewers until season 4, so the writers will explore this story line a bit more in season six. Read the full article at EW. I am excited!

Mitch Pileggi is amazing! In his first appearance in In the Beginning, he played 2 different characters in just one episode. He channeled YED very well, while YED was played by 4 different actors through out the history of the show, Mitch (and others) was still able to put his own stamp on the character. He played Grandpa Samuel in an amazing fashion, he so owns the role. I can't wait to see what the writers have installed for us!!
